AL GERMANO REALE In Bardolino

Really very pleasant, we were there several times, both at lunchtime and in the evening. The bruschetta to die for, and the sour sardine with onions and pine nuts were really good. The menu has something for everyone, whether pizza, sea fish, seafood or meat. Attentive, fast, friendly service. You sit slightly set back directly on the promenade with a view of the lake, discreetly installed fans are really very pleasant in summer. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again!

One of the nicer restaurants in Lazise. Very beautifully situated as a lake, but NOT so close to the water that every tourist can look at your plate. Extremely attentive and polite staff and the home-made "French potato chips" are unrivaled no matter where I've been on Lake Garda!

After 3 years I returned to this restaurant because I was happy at the time and as I imagined I had reconfirmation, excellent service, kind and helpful waiters, quality food and prices that were appropriate at the time. Specifically, I am referring to the grilled trout as I ate this and I must say that it is really good... I recommend this place, and being just a few meters from the lake you can take a nice walk along the lake after dinner. In total I spent 28 euros eating a good lake trout with a side of fried potatoes and 1/4 of white wine, I'd say it's honest.

A very chic restaurant right in front of our hotel. The staff is super friendly, we were allowed to order pizza after the store closed and we were even allowed to eat it at a seat. The food is very tasty, everything on the menu is recommended. The atmosphere is super nice.

Highly recommended restaurant Excellent food, excellent location, welcoming and helpful staff, suitable for all occasions, a few steps from the playground, the lakeside promenade (cycle and pedestrian path) and a stone's throw from the San Vito campsite, possibility of eating inside or on the outdoor veranda.

Everything was great, service, quality and taste were great

First evening in Lake Garda, and Hotel not far from the quaint port at Cisano, with a handful of restaurants, we opted for Al Germano Reale, and were not disappointed. Welcomed by a lovely lady, broad smile and genuine warm character. Then we faced the daunting task of understanding Italian menus. Starters, Salads, Main Course 1, Main Course 2, side dishes, Pizzas, and….desserts! Italy is all about its food, however an introduction of what to select, was so much easier with our helpful waitress, ( Sarah I beleive) definitely not being used to such an extensive menu, and not wanting to over indulge, Sarah suggested we share a course, then one main each. We picked the Lasagna to share, then a separate other main each. Lasagne was to die for! Nothing like a British lasagne, this was real deal, so light, so little tomato sauce, veal/pork fine mince. Amazing., and rest of the courses followed suit. 5 days later we returned to the same restaurant, again it was Sarah who welcomed us, recognised us and thanked us for coming back. This time it was a Lasagna meal each, we couldn’t leave Lake Garda without trying this again. Also a waiter (Amir) couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive with us, making sure everything was all right and although offered some amazing dessert options, we had to decline and settle for a cappuccino to end the evening. Having dined every night around the Bardolino area, this place was top of our list, not just the amazing food, but the service stood out way ahead of any other place we visited.
