The Il Gabbiano restaurant in Catania is a true jewel for fish lovers. I had the pleasure of tasting the spaghetti with squid ink and the paccheri with fresh prawns and I must say that they were among the best fish dishes I have ever tasted. The fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked, with a delicate taste and rich in flavours. The restaurant staff was extremely attentive and courteous, always ready to satisfy our every request and recommend the best dishes to try. The location is enchanting, in Piazza Verga which makes the dining experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend the Il Gabbiano restaurant to all those who love fish and quality cuisine. I can't wait to go back to try other delicacies on the menu!

The best restaurant in Catania! Everything is in generosity: tastes, quantity. I have never eaten such good fish. The anchovy dish as a starter was excellent. I strongly recommend.

Il costante appuntamento settimanale ha dato un risultato costantemente eccellente. Gli antipasti di polipo, gamberetti, cozze ed alici arrostite sono stati di una delizia unica. La pasta di casa alla catanese (alici e finocchio selv.) ed i secondi piatti (spigola e spado arrosto) hanno confermato la bontà e la freschezza del pescato del nostro mare. Con assoluta certezza Giuseppe continua l'opera ristoratrice demandata dal padre sig. Salvo accogliendo con garbo e familiarità la sua clientela. Un plauso al personale di servizio, molto educati e garbati nel loro modo d'essere. Onesto nell'applicazione dei prezzi con una consueta generosità. -
