Excellent dinner! We had pizza and tagliata: everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, impeccable service from the waiter to the owner, kind and smiling.
Excellent value for money.

When my friend and I were staying in Desenzano in June, Al Fattore quickly became our go-to for dinner. It stood out amoungst the other more generic and tourist-trappy restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly, efficient and flexible, which coupled with delicious and very well priced food and drinks (the €5 Aperol was the favourite) made for a great experience. They were very accomodating even when busy and never rushed us for a clear table, we stayed until closing a few times. Enjoyed ourselves very much, and we hope to be back! Thankyou!

Four of us spontaneously stopped in today. We were very nicely persuaded and didn't regret it.

Among many restaurants, we felt welcome at Al Fattore. All the dishes delighted our palates. The owner is old-school when it comes to hospitality and friendliness.

Very attentive service(!)
in a beautiful setting; the food is OK, but nothing special.
Strange: While the reasonably priced menus were supposed to feature homemade pasta, the same dish
(a la carte fish pasta) was made entirely of instant noodles!
The smoked trotta carpaccio was far too small and could have come from a package; unfortunately, it also lacked enough seasoning.
The steamed roast veal was partly stringy and completely lacking in sauce; the few peas had been dried beforehand and were hard and gray. The mashed potatoes were, unfortunately,
unloving, lacking milk and nutmeg.
