We had a very good time: very good tempura fried fish and very good spaghetti with clams, special wine recommended by Tiziano, the owner of the restaurant. I have celiac disease and the previous evening I went in to book, thinking of eating a gluten-free pizza the next day (it was highlighted on the site) and Alessia, the owner's daughter, informed me that there would also be the possibility of fried fish... and so I was satisfied! My daughters and husband loved it too! Highly recommended!

During our visit to Grado, we had the pleasure of dining at the Al Doge restaurant, located in Via Gaetano Donizetti, 3. The welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail in the equipment immediately impressed us. Even though the place was fully booked, the service was quick and efficient.
We enjoyed the “Doge's Plate”, spaghetti marinara and tempura: each dish was prepared with fresh fish, generous portions and excellent value for money. The owner, Mr. Tiziano, proved to be extremely kind and professional, making our experience even more pleasant.
We highly recommend Al Doge to anyone wanting to sample the local cuisine.
