A restaurant serving local specialties; we went there on Sunday, recommended by the owner of an antique shop. A delicate yet bold lunch, truly delicious. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and the staff are very kind and friendly. A very nice thing is that while you wait, after placing your order, you're offered a small platter of cured meats and a basket of delicious bread and breadsticks. Another lovely thing about this restaurant is the view from the balcony, a picture-perfect view.

For those who love fine dining and local specialties, I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful time, and the service was impeccable. Prices were absolutely reasonable, not excessive. The wait was minimal, and the customer service was truly courteous and attentive. The flavors are all from the Chiavenna Valley, and the owner's friendliness complements the atmosphere beautifully. They were truly excellent. Finally, the restaurant was very, very well-kept. Our compliments. We will definitely be back.

The choice of this restaurant was random, but the result was excellent. While waiting to order, we were offered salami and prosecco accompanied by a basket of a mix of breads and breadsticks made from different flours. We chose the tasting menu of typical local dishes, and the owner explained each course to us with infinite kindness. We ate well and spent a fair amount... ..I highly recommend it. If you're lucky enough to find a table outside, overlooking the Mera, it's truly the best 👍🏼

In una terrazza affacciata sul fiume Mera, il dominio di Chiavenna è presto detto. La tradizione della cucina locale passa dai piatti di sempre, rivisitati in eleganza ed educazione. Qualità buona, sevizio cordiale. Si sa che le generazioni nuove hanno stimoli differenti, ma quelle antiche lavorano ancora molto bene. Con la Sapienza di una grappa offerta in cassa, ed il sorriso di chi sa che gli anni non contano. Consigliato per l’anatra e i taroz più famosi della valle.

A very beautiful location in the historic old town with a balcony directly overlooking the gorge. Very friendly staff and a small, very fine menu. Very charming: the coperto costs 5 euros, but includes a glass of Prosecco, salamino, and a beautiful assorted bread basket. The food is of good quality. The price/performance ratio is good and very fair. We felt very comfortable and will return.
