Perfect dinner: good food and excellent wine

Family dinner last night. The background music made the evening enjoyable. Attentive, fast, and professional service. Excellent ham and excellent tagliolini (rich in ham in the sauce). The polenta fridge was among the best we've tasted in years. The dessert was delicious. Our neighbors had the Florentine steak...the aroma made us want to come back for a taste! The price was in line with the quality offered.

We had very good service, but neither the food nor the place was what we expected. The food was correct, nothing more. The best was the cold cuts and the eggplant. And the atmosphere was a bit old-fashioned with a slightly peculiar smell of the place.

On the recommendation of the reception at the Hotel San Daniele (where I highly recommend staying), we dined at Cantinon several evenings. What can I say? It's welcoming, the dishes are excellent, and the chef's skill highlights the quality of the ingredients. Last but not least, the owner and the wait staff are professional, and they even accommodated our off-menu requests. Thank you so much for everything, and keep up the good work. My wife and I had dinner here and I have to say we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, as was the selection of local wines. The service was impeccable, and we really loved the unique location. We'll definitely be back. We recommend booking.

A beautiful and welcoming place with very kind staff and fantastic raw ham.

Not only was it a culinary delight, but the atmosphere of sitting in a cantina was also unique. 5 stars!

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location itself is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations — it was rather unremarkable considering the price point. In particular, the spaghetti with Prosciutto di San Daniele was disappointing: the ham tasted more like it came from a packaged product rather than being freshly sliced, which was quite noticeable since we had recently tried it at a prosciutteria where the flavor was far superior. Looking at older photos on Google, it also seems the menu used to be broader and more varied, so the current reduced selection feels like a missed opportunity. While the atmosphere and service were enjoyable, the overall dining experience left us wishing for more authenticity, creativity, and value on the culinary side.
