Welcoming, pleasant music in the background, excellent food and, not to be underestimated, the optimal temperature... even in the bathroom. We'll be back.

Typical restaurant in the center of San Daniele. The brick room in the basement is beautiful. Excellent variety of dishes with ham which we appreciated very much. Really great food. Good variety of local wines. Nice and fast service. Great price!

We tried it once and were struck by the refined and welcoming environment, by the quality of the ingredients, by the special dishes that are not always found in San Daniele and last but not least by the kindness and professionalism of the managers, so much so that the we chose with our eyes closed for our wedding dinner and they were able to create a perfect menu and welcome. We recommend it to anyone who wants to have a truly pleasant dinner or event.

I had the opportunity to dine at "Al Cantinon" in San Daniele del Friuli and the experience was a mix of light and shadow. The restaurant is welcoming, with a warm and pleasant atmosphere, and the service proved to be excellent: the staff is attentive, professional and friendly, a real strong point of the restaurant. As for the food, the cured meats and cheese plates stood out for their quality: the choice of excellent suppliers is clearly noticeable. However, the disappointment came with the cooked dishes. I expected cuisine up to the promised level, but unfortunately none of the courses turned out to be memorable, either in terms of goodness or, in some cases, quantity. The bill of around 50 euros per person seemed disproportionate to me compared to the overall quality of the culinary offer. I believe that, maintaining the excellent service and the excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses, an improvement in the cuisine would make the asking price more adequate. In summary, a place with great potential, but which requires greater care in the dishes cooked to offer a fully satisfying experience.

. . . wäre es, bei einem Aufenthalt in San Daniele nicht hier zu speisen! Das Ambiente ist stimmungsvoll, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Qualiät, die hier serviert wird ist Spitze. Das gilt für die Zutaten und die Zubereitung gleichermaßen. Francesco empfiehlt auf Wunsch den passenden Wein. Auch der als Hauswein servierte Friulano schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Degustationsplatte als Antipasto musste natürlich sein - ein Geschmackserlebnis! Auch die Lasagnetta und die Porchettina waren ein Genuss. Ich finde die Preise angemessen, billiger geht leicht, besser schwer.

Ho cenato con la mia famiglia, il locale era stato consigliato dall’hotel dove alloggiavamo. Cibo ottimo, buone le materie prime, personale disponibile e gentile, menù con ampia scelta. Locale caratteristico, ex cantina, vicinissimo al centro, molto comodo per il parcheggio. Consigliaitissimo.
