Al Bacio Ristorante Pizzeria In Bergamo

I hadn't noticed the old review... since then it's rocketed to the top 3 in the Bergamo province (I don't have much experience outside of Bergamo, so I'm not commenting yet...). Anyway, the food is cooked with occasional improvements, in a way I've honestly never eaten in my life. It's EXCELLENT, whether you choose the fixed price or the all-you-can-eat menu. With the people I go with, we try to vary and try new places, but this restaurant remains the best to date. Another restaurant might be equal, but certainly not superior. TIP: Eat dessert without fear of spending money; the experience and your palate will make up for it. There's no pastry shop, even outside the province, that can match this, and I've seen quite a few of them, both in this region and elsewhere.

For my 50th birthday I brought my women here and I made a great impression. Thanks to the whole kitchen... to the plating done to make your eyes shine, to the delicate and calm service and the tagliata I have never eaten so good and the fish appetizer not to be missed... I will definitely be back.

Sunday Lunch The service was truly impeccable: the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The quality of the food, especially the fish, was good and well-presented. Some aspects of the price, however, left me perplexed: the €3.50 cover charge seemed rather high, and even the €10 children's pasta with tomato sauce seemed excessive. Another negative is the lack of wine by the glass or the option to order a glass. I didn't appreciate this, especially because I would have preferred just a glass of wine with the fish, even though I was the only one at the table. The atmosphere is refined, with comfortable chairs and a coat rack, a much-appreciated detail. It's a shame, however, about the double white and brown curtains: the dark color blocks natural light, making the place rather dark even on sunny days, so much so that all the lamps had to be turned on. Convenient parking is available behind the restaurant, with no parking disc required, a detail that was certainly appreciated.

Food was really good and nicely decorated. Service is okay. I would have let the waitress who spoke perfect English taken the order instead of the friendly man who spoke Italian to me.

Ideal place for business and family lunches. I went today with some family members and was impressed with everything! The staff, the atmosphere, and the food! Everything was great! 5 stars, definitely coming back.
