I came back last week.
Always better, professional and friendly. Well, I won't even mention the food because it's perfect. Try the grilled lamb with a trio of vegetable purees. Fantastic, as are the pici with all the sauces.
As Aiazzone used to say, "seeing is believing." Greetings to Mihail and Marcello and all the staff.

I went there 24 years ago, but it suddenly came to mind, so I'm just leaving a review now.
It took quite a while to remember and find the location, but I still wanted to leave a review.
Everything about the wine steak pasta was impeccable. It's one of the most memorable restaurants I visited during my trip to Italy, including Rome, Florence, and Venice. Thanks to the delicious food, my wife and I were completely drunk after two bottles of wine.

We very much enjoyed eating here on our last night in Val d'Orcia. Had we been here before, we would have been back, without any doubt. Food is good pretty much everywhere in the area, but here it wasn't only the best value but the best FULL STOP. Do eat the Peposo here. And whichever main course was chosen in our party, the portions were heroic. And the selection of wines available is incredible for a restaurant of this size. Service is well-informed, attentive and friendly.

Exceptional restaurant, with a varied menu featuring homemade pasta, traditional Tuscan dishes, and top-quality meats, served in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The staff, completely professional and attentive to our every need, served us with warmth and friendliness. The prices are absolutely reasonable considering the quality of the service. A sublime experience in the center of Montepulciano, delicious food with cured meats and pici with Tuscan ragù (a must!). Very friendly staff in a small but very warm and welcoming setting, highly recommended! 😉
