We booked online and when we arrived on site we only waited about ten minutes... it was very windy outside and having a little girl the owner was very kind and allowed us to wait inside and sit down... the service was very fast and impeccable... the food was a unique delicacy and absolutely adequate prices... I would return without any doubt

It looks like an improvised place. I don't even know if it's still called that. The waiters are all very young, disorganized. There were people standing waiting and empty tables, perhaps to avoid overloading the kitchen, or because they didn't realize it. A chair at my table got knocked over every time they passed by. They look for what you order, on the menu, as if they didn't know it. Two of them seem to be more prepared, the rest improvised. You have to pay at the cashier, without a receipt. I guess (from the mental tally) that he was fine. The cashier, also, very young, inexperienced. The pizza, the drink, well, in the end, that's what's important.

Quality has dropped significantly compared to some time ago.
The fisherman's starter is completely forgettable compared to the previous one full of crudites, now only pancakes and fish balls of dubious quality (very good octopus)
The busiate with St. Peter's egg have magically lost the clams that were previously on the menu.
In short, they have cut a little here and a little there on the quality of the dishes and the result shows.

Service 5/5 very professional restaurant and full but did not give me more I could not finish the dishes because they were not to my taste and a waiter called out to me telling me it was because our plates were still filled I said no with a look.
Then they made up for it by telling us to return to our seats, offering us a mixture of fried squid and octopus offered from the house but unfortunately it was inedible but the waiter hat I have never seen such an attentive person tried to his best to satisfy us.

Service leaves something to be desired, we asked shortly after taking their orders for a high chair for my little girl, which never arrived. Decent pizzas but difficult to cut with those knives.

We were passing through Trapani and asked a local acquaintance for advice on a place to have lunch. She recommended this restaurant to us a stone's throw from the center and the seafront and we are happy to have listened to her. We ate an excellent fish fry as a starter and two exceptional pasta dishes. Both the busiate with cherry tomatoes and mussels and the pistachio paccheri with burrata and sausage really impressed us, also for the generous portions as well as for the goodness! Furthermore, the staff was very kind and another positive note (and not to be taken for granted given that in another place we were not well received) they also gladly welcomed our big dog!
Therefore an absolutely recommended place!

I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant during my stay in Trapani. I found the restaurant by chance, looking at the Google Maps and what can I say, exceptional! Helpful and attentive waiters, ready to recommend the dishes of the day and satisfy every request. My boyfriend and I had a shared caponata as a starter, truly fabulous, and two first courses. I found them really original and good, we couldn't resist making the shoe. Fair price, normal location

Excellent pizza and good and plentiful starters.
The real must are the first courses with the fantastic busiate with prawns and pistachios or those with St. Peter's fish. You have a truly spectacular chef and staff, dining at the Bastioni is truly a pleasure in every sense.

In vacanza sull'isola di Favignana, ogni anno al rientro ci fermiamo volentieri una giornata a Trapani con cena al ristorante Ai Bastioni, scoperto l'altr'anno e sempre piacevole da ritornarci...questa volta per una super pizza! Personale ai tavoli piacevole e mai insistente sul proporti cose da te non richieste ma pronto a esporti i loro piatti forti se chiedi loro un consiglio...Ottimo il dessert che ci hanno proposto a fine cena, un tiramisù freschissimo e un cocktail al pistacchio davvero speciale. Una piacevole esperienza che facciano volentieri ogni estate a fine vacanza, ormai è una tappa fissa a chiusura del nostro periodo in Sicilia...
