Agriturismo Calamate In Sannicola

A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.

We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!

Excellent food, a very beautiful and well-maintained location, but the access road is unpaved and unlit. The least pleasant aspect was the owner, or whoever seemed to be the owner. He was kind but not at all friendly; ordering with him was like running a marathon. He made it clear he had no time to waste, albeit politely. There was no opportunity to comment on the dishes or anything else related to the dinner. The waiters were very nice. As mentioned, the food was truly excellent, especially the orecchiette.

I dined at this well-maintained restaurant, nestled in unexpected greenery in Gallipoli. The olive oil they produce is exceptional, and the traditional Apulian dishes are made with excellent ingredients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Very expensive for what the restaurant offers. Extremely simple menu... prices a bit out of line. Fast and efficient service. Beautiful country-chic location.

We went for dinner and had a hard time getting there because the GPS was pointing the wrong way, but all that was quickly forgotten by the excellent dishes we ate. The combination of flavors was superb. Very satisfied. We recommend it to everyone for the lovely location and excellent food!

I only tried the restaurant. Nice place with a warm welcome. The food was quite good, especially the homemade pasta, which is locally sourced.

Good evening everyone, it's hard to put into words how much we enjoyed this place. It felt like home, but with the grace and flair of a gourmet restaurant. The host was simply perfect. The location was beautiful, fresh, and clean. But—no offense, Gianluca—perfection was achieved by the host, Mrs. Angela, who brought a touch of elegance and imagination to the dishes presented, which were never predictable. We had dinner at the Agriturismo Calamate restaurant for two nights and everything was absolutely delicious. We started with a fresh and creamy burratina served with vegetables — the perfect beginning to the meal. The traditional Orecchiette con pistachi e gamberetti was full of flavor, and the Octopus in pignata was tender and perfectly cooked. Every dish was made with care and tasted amazing. Luca, the owner, and the staff were kind and welcoming, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You can really feel the love for local food and tradition in everything they serve. Highly recommended for an authentic and unforgettable experience!

Ho trascorso oggi una fantastica giornata in questo agriturismo. Non ci ero mai stata quindi in genere quando non conosco un posto sono piena di aspettative. Un agriturismo molto molto carino, percorso botanico, immenso giardino esterno, giochi per bambini, camere per alloggiare e ristorante ben organizzato e curato sia nel servizio che nei piatti. La cucina ha preparato per noi una carrellata di antipasti, che potete vedere in foto. Un piatto più buono dell’altro (addirittura riso patate e cozze versione street food sotto forma di arancino, stupendo!). Dopo gli antipasti abbiamo mangiato il primo, squisito, molto ben equilibrati i sapori; uguale il secondo piatto, ottimo! Il personale servizievole e molto molto gentile. Io ero ospite per una cerimonia ma è possibile pranzare o cenare anche a persone esterne quando la sala non è completamente piena quindi conviene sempre prenotare prima o chiamare poco prima per accertarsi che ci sia un tavolo disponibile per voi. Prendendo l’uscita per Sannicola dalla SP per Gallipoli svoltate strettamente a sinistra per non sbagliare perché il navigatore vi fa allungare un po’. Posto davvero incantevole. Lo stra consiglio!
