Lorenzo and his staff welcome you with the smile and friendliness typical of Abruzzo.
From the moment you make your reservation over the phone, you feel like a welcome guest, an old friend.
Then you arrive at the restaurant, sit down, and there, determined to taste the typical San Vitese dish, a mystical experience begins: the king of fish soup literally left us speechless.
A bowl full of simple but perfect fish for this dish—cod, weever, red mullet, skate, mantis shrimp, cuttlefish—all immersed in a tomato sauce, flavored with a few pieces of bell pepper, into which you can dip the perfectly toasted bread.
You can savor it all at your leisure; for half an hour, it's just you and the dish before you, a true culinary experience.
The best part, however, comes as soon as you've finished enjoying the fish and bread, which you know how to manage wisely, mindful of what's next. The pasta of your choice is cooked in the remaining sauce...we opted for squares (like maltagliati) made with water and flour, which are special.
For the more indulgent, Lorenzo brings his own chili pepper oil to the table, spicy and fragrant.
A cold pecorino from the San Giacomo winery to accompany it all, and the magic is complete.

We dined at this trattoria to try the typical local dish, brodetto. What can I say, a superb experience. A rich dish of the freshest fish, from red mullet, cod, weever, to cuttlefish and mantis shrimp, with a spectacular tomato sauce. Pasta is served with the sauce if you have room after eating all the toast.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were fair for what we ordered. Congratulations!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance.
We ordered bruschetta with marinated anchovies and tomato confit, spaghetti with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, olives, and breadcrumbs, and spaghetti with seafood and fried calamari....
Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the service was perfect! Well done!!!!!

I stopped by for lunch with a colleague; we stopped somewhat randomly, and it was worth it. The mixed hot and cold appetizer was excellent, tasty and plentiful. We then shared a grilled meat and a fish soup. Everything was excellent. The house white wine was also good, and the price, €50 per person, was reasonable for the quality and quantity. Everything was managed by friendly, attentive young people. I will definitely be back.

Excellent fish dinner. We had the fish soup for dinner, and they recommended using the leftover fish soup sauce on our pasta after we'd finished it. It was a lovely experience, authentic and inexpensive. The service was excellent, and the owner was a perfect host.

A good trattoria serving delicious traditional cuisine, especially the fish-based first courses, such as chitarrina, spaghettoni, and gnocchetti, the latter a bit smaller in portion than the others. The brodetto/guazzetto/zuppa is truly excellent, if served with pasta! The atmosphere is basic, like a trattoria; the only downside is the location.
