We discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling along the Torre Archirafi seafront. We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on the menu: everything was fresh and good quality, with generous and flavorful appetizers. For our first course, we ordered the house specialty, shrimp and spider crab risotto...very, very good! In short, if you're in the area, it's a must-try!

New Year's Eve 2026 Lunch. An excellent seafood New Year's Eve lunch. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. The host was very kind and attentive. I recommend it and will be back.

An excellent experience from every perspective. An excellent restaurant offering a beautiful view of the Torre Archirafi sea, but above all, excellent seafood, including excellent fish served in a variety of ways. We didn't really have an idea of ​​what we ordered but knew it was for 2 people and something with fish in it.. a bit of language confusion, and we thought it was something without pasta.. But wait a minute, we got a lot of food.. it was the best we had on our entire holiday.. it gets our warmest recommendations. A big shame that we were the only guests for the 2-3 hours we sat there..

L'antica Taverna del castagno

13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.
24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.
