A local restaurant with fantastic choices. You are eating at Lorenzo's house! The sampler appetizer is big enough for 4. We had the mozzarella caprese, tagliotti with meat, and rabbit & penned. The dessert sampler was outstanding! Recommend you buy a higher priced chianti. I had the Poggio Torselli. Small restaurant, close tables, made new friends.

Bellissimo ristorantino a Montefiridolfi,con parcheggio gratuito a poche decine di metri dal locale. Non essendoci molti posti è vivamente consigliabile prenotare in anticipo,specie nei fine settimana. L'interno è arredato in maniera caratteristica Toscana,si mangia benissimo con porzioni veramente super abbondanti! Dopo aver assaggiato l'olio novo su fette di pane abbrustolito,abbiamo preso uno squisito antipasto misto,con affettati,pezzetti di formaggiobruschette,crostini caldi e verdure grigliate ed a seguire,come primi piatti,un piccantissimo spaghetto "alla vigliacca"e dei fantastici tortelli alla mugellana(con ripieno di patate)conditi al ragù di carne.Per secondo,peposo con i ceci e straccetti ai funghi porcini.Sia il peposo che gli straccetti si scioglievano in bocca...squisiti! Il tutto,innaffiato da un egregio vino della casa,presentato in un caratteristico fiasco. Per finire,assaggi di vari dolci molto buoni e caffè servito alla Moka. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono,sicuramente adeguato alla bontà dei piatti degustati,proprietari con la cordialità toscana di una volta e gestione veramente egregia di questo piccolo gioiello di trattoria di paese ne fanno sicuramente un posto dove tornare per mangiare bene con prodotti genuini ed a km zero.

We started by not having reserved a place and Maurizio saw how much we wanted to come and arranged a place for us. We got to the table and it was better than we imagined - authentic and full of the artistic world of the restaurant and the owner, which adds to the atmosphere. In terms of the food - special special special. From the first to the main ones. Everything is done precisely and from the heart. Una sola stanza, rustica in pieno stile Chianti, con 20 coperti, e così vi ho reso l'idea. Menu corto e deliziosamente toscano, proprietario simpatico, servizio adeguato, prezzi tranquilli. Insomma, non era la prima visita e non sarà l'ultima, perché sembra -e non è per dire- che a cucinare ci sia la nonna, di non essere in un ristorante, insomma. Quindi, vivamente consigliato!
