The waiter was very friendly, the food was excellent.

26/07/2024: Conoscevo La Favellina prima che la guida Michelin le riconoscesse la prima ambita stella. Era già un ristorante molto raffinato in una location magnifica.
Sono tornato per festeggiare i 25 anni di matrimonio e l’ho trovato impeccabile. Un’esperienza del gusto, mai banale e con qualche piatto davvero stupefacente, come i tortelli alla crema di parmigiano che da soli valgono la stella.
Faccio notare che la qualità media della ristorazione veneta ha raggiunto livelli di eccellenza assoluta, e questo nel giro di pochi anni, e non a caso piovono stelle come nella notte di San Lorenzo…

Unfortunately it is no longer possible to eat outside, which was a significant plus for us. Prices have increased significantly in recent years.
Maybe a little too much.
However, a restaurant definitely worth trying!

10/07/2024: We were greeted kindly by the staff and served professionally from start to finish.
I've been here two days in a row.
One day I took the fixed price menu and the other the pizza.
100% satisfied in both home.
Pasta and pizza are truly amazing here. As well as meat.
Fixed price menu at €15, extraordinary quality/price! Pizza is not included in the fixed price.
I truly recommend it to everyone!
If you take the à la carte menu, however, prepare your wallet open 😅

24/07/2024: I don't post photos of the dishes eaten at dinner because the menu could be different from when I came.
One night stay for a business trip.
Very kind and attentive staff.
Quiet place surrounded by greenery, with a small swimming pool.
Some rooms bear the name of grandparents, grandchildren and other family members.
I highly recommend it.

18/08/2024: The hotel and restaurant are beautifully renovated in the original country style, which feels authentic and without unnecessary kitsch. The atmosphere of old times is felt at every step. The room was spacious and clean, with a daily change of towels and cleaning. We chose the hotel also because of the renowned restaurant, which unfortunately was closed for the entire second half of August due to staff vacation. After 200 kilometers of travel, it was difficult to find a place to eat in the evening, as most of the restaurants in the area were either closed or under renovation. The nearest open restaurant was about 5 km away. If we had been informed about this in advance, we probably would not have decided on this hotel, despite its beautiful appearance. :-(

The enchanting location

Four of us with two children had two mixed fish starters, two bigoli with arna, a fried dish with a side of grilled vegetables and a bottle of wine, water and two coffees (total bill 100 euros).
Nothing to say about the location and the service: it is a very large restaurant with many seats, but we were served well and the waiting times were more than acceptable.
The problem I encountered was the mediocre quality of the food (at least what we ate).
I won't say that the fish in the starter wasn't fresh, but I found the exact flavor of the seafood salad packs on the supermarket counter. Well... for 18 euros per dish I would have expected more.
Unfortunately the same goes for the fried food, certainly abundant, but quantity isn't everything!
Even the sauce of the bigoli with the arna, taken for the children, remained a certain perplexity.
In the end I found the price excessive, not in absolute terms, but for the quality of what we ate.
In conclusion, the experience did not leave me satisfied (I limit myself to saying this euphemistically) and I don't think I will return.

29/04/2024: Self-service pizzeria. Order and then collect. Very friendly staff, pizzas and sandwiches made with excellent ingredients and seasonal vegetables. Coffee included in the price.
29/03/2024: Picked up pizzas today. Called at 5.30pm for the pizzas. Delivery at 7.00pm. I picked up the pizzas and realized that the pizzas were cold. Basically they had already made the pizzas at that time.
I give reception like this because they are terrible at the service and the gesture they made. Never again
