13/07/2025: It may seem paradoxical, but you can enjoy splendid seafood dishes even over a hundred kilometers from the sea.
I've known this gem of a restaurant for years (located in a small town in the lower Verona area), and each time it surprises me more and more.
If you're passing through, I recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.
Oh, I almost forgot... Very competent, kind, and helpful staff in a very elegant and refined setting.
Score from one to ten?
I'd say eleven!

10/08/2025: A pleasant and welcome discovery, a restaurant that makes the simplicity of its menu its strong point.
The risotto alla pilota with ribs (the latter are EXTRAORDINARY) is excellent, as is the tagliata. All this at a truly reasonable price. One of the best restaurants I know for quality/price ratio!

12/07/2025: I have nothing to complain about the food, it's all pretty good; but the service needs a complete overhaul... we sat inside and it was hot, the napkins felt like plastic, there were five of us and they gave us three menus (one of which they took back immediately). We ordered a lemon semifreddo and it arrived with caramel, and with the panna cotta they brought us a fork.

Patron Mrs. Laura, in the kitchen; Mrs. Liliana, in the dining room; still on the "battlefield". Professionals in the HO.RE.CA sector. Very good
I forgot: the restaurant is open on Friday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday for lunch.
29/03/2025: Good food, decent location, excellent service. The only downside was the price, which was steep because we ordered a sampling of four types of rice, and we ordered three dishes of each to share among six people, except for the frog dish, which was four portions. Two liters of draft wine, limoncino, coffee, and water were included, for €43 each. In my case, since I had sleeve surgery and ate a paltry plate of food, the reason was that they refused to split my bill, a fact that has already legally reprimanded several restaurateurs who use the "no split bills" signs at the entrance.
P.S. Check your receipt, because we ended up with extra dishes!

La Casa del Vino

02/12/2024: A prima vista sembra un normale locale dove ci si può fermare per un veloce pranzo di lavoro invece nasconde un menù della tradizione accompagnato da una grande carta dei vini. Ottima sosta….. conto un po’ eccessivo per quanto consumato.
