24/12/2024: Excellent restaurant where you can enjoy traditional dishes. The only complaint from some diners was that their clothes were saturated with a smell the following day: perhaps the connection with the kitchen needed to be improved. Small-medium portions, careful plating, quick service, quiet atmosphere. Recommended for a pleasant evening with family.

25/01/2025: In August 2024 we had the wedding of my daughter who lives in Chicago. We were about 90 people, 40 of whom were Americans. They were all amazed by the place, the food by Romolo's organization and the kindness of all the staff. Everyone complimented it
To be recommended for events and to rely on Romolo's professionalism and competence - a guarantee.

25/01/2025: Organized lunch for my mother's 90th birthday: good agreed menu - it satisfied everyone, unique location, admired by all, room dedicated to us (there were twenty of us), impeccable service.
The risotto with amarone and porcini mushrooms is excellent.
Unforgettable day.
Highly recommended.

22/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato all’aperto. Sistemazione semplice ma accogliente. Cucina genuina. Ottimo l’ antipasto di moscardini, così come i secondi di polpo e baccalà. Vini di buona qualità a prezzi contenuti. La gentilezza è un tratto distintivo del proprietario e del suo staff.

I asked for information on a dish and I wasn't given any information provided.. so good food, the service clearly needs improvement!!

26/08/2024: I was weighed a smooth focaccia (cut into squares, with the tray underneath) and a 500g piece of pizza together for a total of 12.34 euros. Without making distinctions, without calibrating the tray. The focaccia is without salt and the lady is quite rude. Terrible, never paid so much for a focaccia and half a slice of pizza. 01/09/2024: Sinceramente viste le recensioni aspettavo di più,scelta limitata e poco caratteristica ,tagliatelle si porcini senza lode ne infamia, tortelloni al sugo di brasato salati,coniglio al forno era cotto in casseruola arrivato con polenta....faceva parte dell antipasto . Dolci scarsi,conto x me salato eviterei
12/08/2024: Ci sono tornato quest’anno dopo anni che non venivo. La proposta è passata da un menù fisso di all’ora ad un menu alla carta, tuttavia sono rimasto deluso dall’esperienza.
Menù poco vario e con scelta di piatti limitata, non degna di un buon ristorante alla carta. Prodotti non eccellenti non aiutano a far brillare dei piatti poco ricercati (non per dire che non sia buono, ma ha il sapore di cucina semplice e casalinga).
Nonostante ciò il personale cortese è l posizione in collina immersa tra le vigne della valpolicella, rendono l’atmosfera piacevole e conviviale.

27/12/2023: Dopo esser stati mandati via da una trattoria solo perché avevamo 1 piccola cagnolina ,abbiamo voluto provare qua e idem: ci han cacciati perché i cani non erano ben accetti ed il vecchio proprietario ci ha detto che (alle 19.30 ) era tutto prenotato e non c'era posto (seppur al momento abbiamo visto parecchi tavoli vuoti di mercoledì sera!!!) Maleducazione a 1000 e poco amore per queste creature. Dovremmo far cosa noi proprietari??? Abbandonarli in autostrada per far felici i ristoratori???? Pessima Italia - cattivi ristoratori !! Locanda BOCCIATA ! Ci vorrebbe l'onorevole Brambilla a cazziarvi! Abbiamo cenato poi egregiamente in un posto con personale educato e gentile, con la bestiola beata che dormiva sotto al tavolo!!! A mai più!!! TROGLOS !!!
