15/12/2025: The food is good, in my case "boiled meat and pears", some criticisms about the dining room being quite noisy and the distracted and confused service. I had to ask for bread, then water, then wine, the waitress took the oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper away from my table. What if I need them?
15/12/2025: We ate an excellent truffle pizza. Others ate excellent meat.

21/10/2025: A little dated inside, but... but... but... The food is simply excellent! We had a starter/main course/dessert/appetizer (everything × 2), and all for €80! The service was impeccable - the waitress is friendly and speaks English, and the food arrives quickly!

The owners, Max and Mara, were incredibly welcoming and polite!
From the appetizers and starters to the main courses, every dish showed the chef's dedication and tasted superb. I tried the Italian oysters, fried fish, and handmade pasta, and the coffee at the end was especially delightful. The price was reasonable; highly recommended!
05/12/2025: I had dinner with some friends. The dishes were exceptional, the flavors excellent! The owners were kind and helpful, and they patiently explained everything to me. I was truly beyond satisfied, so much so that I'd recommend it to friends and colleagues!

11/11/2025: I already mentioned it in a review some time ago. A historic site, once on the state road now replaced by the highway, is worth a detour because it will be the most peaceful moment of the trip.

28/11/2025: I reviewed the place last Saturday and it was promptly removed. Kudos to your critical thinking. So, I repeat, the place is in absolute chaos, with cold pizza, deafening music, and poor service. Too many small children, who should be banned given the high decibels. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
23/11/2025: I'm sorry to be so disappointed in my review, but it's just not right. Deafening music that has little to do with live music in an indoor setting that's completely inappropriate for musical events. Chaos everywhere, delays in orders, and little attention to everything. You can't expect people not to run away if you can't even exchange a few words during dinner. Too many people with small children and strollers in a place like this should be banned to protect even the littlest ones, who are not to blame for their parents' irresponsibility. The pizza is cold, the atmosphere is dim, and the place could use proper heating. Prices are high, and they don't even offer a small liqueur.

01/03/2025: Locale old stile, ordinato e pulito, noi abbiamo cenato con 4 antipasti, nota molto positiva per il luccio con polenta, 4 secondi, 3 dolci molto buoni, una bottiglia di vino, acqua e 2 caffè a poco meno di 200€, servizio preciso.
In soldoni abbiamo mangiato bene in una trattoria di una volta, mi dispiace non dare le 5 stelle per il prezzo un pò troppo elevato per essere in trattoria.

01/02/2025: Era da tempo che non ritornavamo a cenare alla Scaletta, siamo stati bene mangiato bene cucina casalinga, ottimi primi piatti e come secondo piatto ottimo coniglio.
23/10/2024: Wir waren rund um den Gardasee über viele Jahre in vielen tollen Restaurants, heute Abend war allerdings ein echtes Highlight. Mama steht am Herd und das schmeckt man auch. Echte einheimische Küche ohne Schnickschnack, super lecker und die Portionen bringen einen schnell an die Grenzen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die herzliche Atmosphäre.

01/09/2024: Sinceramente viste le recensioni aspettavo di più,scelta limitata e poco caratteristica ,tagliatelle si porcini senza lode ne infamia, tortelloni al sugo di brasato salati,coniglio al forno era cotto in casseruola arrivato con polenta....faceva parte dell antipasto . Dolci scarsi,conto x me salato eviterei
12/08/2024: Ci sono tornato quest’anno dopo anni che non venivo. La proposta è passata da un menù fisso di all’ora ad un menu alla carta, tuttavia sono rimasto deluso dall’esperienza.
Menù poco vario e con scelta di piatti limitata, non degna di un buon ristorante alla carta. Prodotti non eccellenti non aiutano a far brillare dei piatti poco ricercati (non per dire che non sia buono, ma ha il sapore di cucina semplice e casalinga).
Nonostante ciò il personale cortese è l posizione in collina immersa tra le vigne della valpolicella, rendono l’atmosfera piacevole e conviviale.
