10/12/2023: Arrivato dopo le 22 di ritorno dal Trentino, nonostante l'ora sono stato accolto senza problemi (altri ristoranti in zona mi avevano rimbalzato). La cucina è curata ed i piatti sono ottimi. Anche il consiglio sui vini si è rivelato competente ed azzeccato. Ottimo anche il dolce... Che dire consigliatissimo e da ritornare.

19/11/2023: Siamo entrati in questo ristorante attratti dal menù apparentemente molto curato. Ordiniamo un piatto di tagliolini al luccio con limone candito e spuma di finocchio e uno spaghetto alla chitarra con mazzancolle crude e cotte e melanzana, ci avvertono che ci vorranno 10 Min di attesa per i piatti. Nel frattempo vediamo che intorno a noi vengono offerte entree anche ai clienti che si erano accomodati dopo di noi. Dopo quasi 1 ora viene offerta l'entree anche a noi. Quando arrivano i piatti, le paste si presentano con fondo brodoso, la spuma di finocchio e la melanzana non pervenute. Dopo qualche boccone dei miei tagliolini, trovo un pezzo di paglietta di metallo, si scusano, mi viene spiegato che può succedere che della paglietta per pulire finisca tra la pasta. Mi viene portato un nuovo piatto: questa volta nei tagliolini non trovo i canditi di limone, né il finocchio, ma una crema di peperoni e vongole insieme al luccio. Un altro piatto, senza alcun preavviso o spiegazione della modifica. Nel frattempo agli altri commensali viene offerto un dolce, noi rimaniamo in attesa ma nulla. Chiediamo il conto, ma nessuno arrivo, ci dobbiamo dunque alzare e ci vengono fatti pagare entrambi i piatti a prezzo pieno (anche quello con la paglietta). Paghiamo 4 euro ciascuno di coperto, ma il dolce, offerto a tutti gli ospiti, a noi non è mai arrivato. È stata una situazione davvero triste e spiacevole: in ogni punto di vista - cucina, servizio, rapporto con il cliente - è mancata cura e professionalità. Davvero molto dispiaciuta e delusa.

16/05/2024: La location è molto bella, se si ha fortuna ci si può gustare dell'ottimo cibo vista lago. Elegante, personale gentile e servizio con un'ottima tempistica tra una portata e l'altra. A mio gusto unico "neo" nella frittura di pesce i calamari erano leggermente gommosi. Per il resto, tutto ottimo! Ci ritornerò sicuramente, magari prenotando così non faccio la coda!

21/09/2024: For many, many years, trips to or visits to Lazise were naturally associated with eating out at the Alla Grotta restaurant. We were generally more than satisfied, the food was excellent and the service was very accommodating. Andrea, our favorite waiter, always recommended a wonderful menu with raw or lukewarm fish and seafood beyond the official menu and every evening was a successful evening. It was all the more disappointing to see this year that both the hotel and the restaurant were closed. A look at the terrace and into the hotel suggests that everything has been cleared and abandoned from here on out. There were already signs of something happening the year before last. Andrea had resigned, we heard about a change in ownership and the quality of the food and service was already declining. However, the fact that this would have to happen now is a very, very shame. Maybe it will have a new future, the “Alla Grotta”. It would be desirable.

18/08/2024: Starting from the nauseating smell of urine and mould, room with cobwebs, mosquitoes everywhere, cracked and dirty walls, unspeakable, rusty bathroom, a horror of a hotel. I wonder how such a place could be opened.

27/11/2023: Recensisco la mia esperienza solo perché affezionato a questo ristorante, quando vado al Garda spesso mi fermo alla Grotta di Lazise. Ho mangiato abbastanza bene, un buon crudo come antipasto di pesce, ed un tagliolino del giorno con gamberi e porcini nella norma, ma quello che più mi ha sorpreso è che abbiano servito una mezza bottiglia di Lugana Ca dei frati in una bull con ghiaccio già aperta. No. Non si fà. Specialmente in un ristorante come alla Grotta. Ci sono rimasto veramente male, non ho detto nulla alla metrê di sala per non creare confusione, ed ho sbagliato, ma questo fatto mi ha molto infastidito tanto che ho scritto questa recensione. Auguro un buon lavoro e ho scritto solamente perché serva in un futuro.

06/10/2024: A Lazise è sempre rischioso fermarsi nei locali, cibo spesso troppo turistico...ma non al Caffè del Corso!! Addentrandosi nei vicoli, poco lontano dal caos del lungo lago, troviamo questa piazzetta meravigliosa e un bar dove potersi fermare per un aperitivo, o un pranzo veloce Piatti gustosi con prodotti di altissima qualità. Bruschette, taglieri, sfiziosità.. tutto molto molto buono!!!

01/05/2025: Siamo stati ospiti soddisfatti della Bella Lazise per i tre giorni del ponte di Pasqua. Abbiamo girato per le vie del centro storico, ed in più di un occasione ci siamo fermati a consumare al Bar Gelateria Battlò. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, il personale era molto cortese e dinamico, anche se non proprio giovanissimi. Prezzi assolutamente in linea con altri locali simili e buona qualità dei prodotti offerti. Consigliato a Tutti.

27/04/2025: Very nice restaurant. We came here by accident when searching a close place to eat with good opinions while we were in Lazise with short visit. We took pizza for our child and tuna twice for ourselves. Everything was excellent. The staff speak english and german and also menu is in those languages. We spend a nice time there eating, chatting and having a great view at Garda lake. If You are somewhere around this place it is definately worth visiting. I think it is also a good place to meet with family for some occasions like birthday etc.

12/04/2025: Anlässlich des 13 Geburtstages waren wir heute im La Terrazza auf La Quercia, um dort zu fünft Kaffee zu trinken und Eis zu essen. Schon beim Betreten des fast leeren Restaurants gegen 13:30 Uhr wurden wir von einem sichtlich genervten Kellners gefragt, was wir hier wollten. Nachdem wir sagten, dass wir gern Eisbecher essen wollten, wollte man uns im Inneren des Restaurants platzieren. Da es auf der Außenterrasse schön sonnig war und diese zudem nahezu leer war, gingen wir nach draußen. Wir schoben uns selbst zwei kleine Tische zusammen, da die großen Tische ausnahmslos im Schatten standen. Keine Hilfe vom Kellner bzw. Personal. Nachdem wir die Getränke bestellten, kamen von bestellten 5 nur 4 bei uns an. Auch nach Hinweis, das eines fehlte, tat sich nichts. Wir wollten dass Eis bestellen... und warteten auf die Bedienung... und warteten...! Nach gefühlten 10 Minuten riefen wir dann eine Bedienung heran und wollten bestellen. Diese Mitarbeiter sagte uns dann, dass er keine Bestellungen aufnehme, das mache sein Kollege. Und wir warteten erneut...! Nachdem wir dann irgendwann bestellen konnten und auch nochmals auf das fehlende Getränk, eine Flasche stilles Wasser, hinwiesen, kam dann alles... nun fehlte ein Glas zur Flasche Wasser, was wir langsam angenervt der Bedienung mitteilen (sieht man ja als Fachkraft scheinbar nicht selbst). Alles in Allem werden wir als langjährige La Quercia Camper das Restaurant La Terrazza nicht wieder besuchen, zu unfreundlich, zu vergesslich, schlechter Service und dafür letztendlich zu teuer!

01/04/2025: One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had at Lake Garda! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. The staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The service was fast and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, ideal for both couples and families. If you’re anywhere near Lake Garda, this place is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended for true pizza lovers!
