11/08/2024: Very nice place with relaxed atmosphere. We ended up here by chance more or less. They don't have a lot of options for food but what they have is really good. The florentine steak was amazing and very good price quality ratio. If you are in the area, you have to come because it would be such a shame to miss this food experience.

30/07/2024: 10/10 across the board. The meat is always spectacular, the picanha in particular is amazing. Furthermore, the staff is always friendly and attentive.

24/08/2024: When we pass to Isola della Scala, it is impossible not to stop at the first real Melotti restaurant. Risotto with tastasal, known as island style, wonderful. Other products are also good and a huge choice of risottos. I always stock up on their products that are sold to the public. Friendly and precise service. Highly recommended.

24/08/2024: I have been frequenting this place for years and it remains a staple, rustic but well-kept place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent quality products, for those who love risotto, price slightly above average but you pay for the quality, I recommend

19/08/2024: We come from Venice, and I came with my family. The place is worth going there over and over again. The menu offers a wide choice of courses, the most requested dish is the Risotto all'Isolana, a typical dish of the cuisine of Verona (Veneto). Also definitely worth trying are the lamb chops with polenta. The service is very friendly, very kind and always available with a smile. The bill is very correct that makes you want to go there again and again. Also worth trying are the NEW NEW ENTRY on the menu: Arrosticini di Pecora (accompanied by a glass of Cabarnet Rosso. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE STAFF!

09/08/2024: I often go to this restaurant with my partner's family... Simple, easy-going place where the food is always good... Both the pizza and the food are good... They also have lunch breaks for the workers and there is ample parking also for truck drivers. Pizza lately is excellent compliments to the pizza chef…. It's only a shame for the cuisine which is excellent but sometimes you ask for a change and they don't make it for you, we should please the customer a little more... What's missing as side dishes is a nice plate of mixed grilled vegetables or roasted potatoes, a bit of variety... Excellent desserts and cuisine but sometimes they get lost in nonsense... There is a lack of high chairs for children who now have them everywhere...

20/07/2024: Non è una pizzeria. E' piuttosto un'esperienza che non ho provato altrove. Impasti leggeri, farciture abbondanti, ingredienti di qualità assemblati con armonia. Il tutto con una grande varietà di menù e a prezzi più che onesti, servito con cortesia ed efficienza. La definirei una "pizzeria stellata" 😄. Bravissimi.

09/07/2024: Oltre le aspettative!! Abbiamo mangiato la pizza; impasto fragrante e digeribile, ingredienti sulla pizza evidentemente di ottima, direi anzi ECCELLENTE, qualità. Personale di sala e di cucina, affabile e disponibile. Laura, che ha servito il nostro tavolo, davvero carinissima (abbiamo 2 gemelli di 6 anni!)

26/06/2024: If you are in the area, this is the restaurant where you can have lunch with a business menu. If you want something more, I recommend fish-based dishes, such as rock fish, excellent and plentiful, you won't leave hungry.

19/06/2024: I went for the first time, I took the fisherman's bigoli and the sauce was not fresh and very concentrated, a small piece of semifreddo was sweet...6 euros....expensive!

15/07/2024: Isola della Scala, cradle of culinary traditions since always, home of Vialone Nano rice (Veronese precisely), among all that of Vó is certainly the historical and qualitative representative rightly and expertly handed down by the Leoni family in this old Pila rich in charm and history, where rice becomes poetry on the plate.

19/06/2024: This evening I was for the first time in this small Neapolitan pizzeria, welcoming where upon entering you feel at home. the wood-fired oven and the good Neapolitan coffee. Moderate pizza cost and perfect dough, I ate it all and I'm difficult with pizzas... Kind and generous staff as well as very attentive. there was only the pizza chef who managed the room, including take-away pizza, on-site pizza delivery and also acting as a waiter... very good

05/06/2024: What a big disappointment, I had booked the table from the cleaning lady (?), initially I wanted to book at the TORRE restaurant also owned by Ferron, they told me that it was closed so I decided to go to Pila Vecia thinking that nothing would have changed, instead... ..there were 4 of us who arrived, I learned that there is practically a fixed menu, I had not been told ANYTHING about this, the lady who served us no longer knew how to handle the situation, we just had to take it and leave. After a bit of embarrassment we manage to have two risottos brought to us, one with asparagus and the other with tastasal, 2 bottles of water, a glass of Soave and a coffee in a surreal atmosphere, when asked for the bill, they didn't know how to manage the situation....I PAID a whopping €88 (normal risottos nothing exceptional!!!). FERRON what a disappointment.....never AGAIN. Much more professionalism would be appreciated!!!! I HAVE NO PROBLEMS comparing myself with someone from the OLD PILA....indeed!!!!
