The food is truly excellent, although in my opinion there's still room for improvement to achieve the attention to detail the restaurant's image promises. A suggestion to the owners: the staff is extremely friendly, but a less frenetic pace of service would help you enjoy the evening more. A little extra magic—dim lighting, the right music, or a small welcome from the kitchen (perhaps a crostini with local olive oil)—would make the experience truly unforgettable. It's worth a try!

18/02/2026: Passing through from Montpellier, I loved it! The food is incredibly authentic, the pasta is perfectly al dente, and the wine and aperitif list is fantastic. Great atmosphere, very welcoming, with a truly professional team. A rare find that does Italy proud. Bravo!

13/01/2026: I chose this location by chance, but it was a wonderful surprise. The staff were incredibly kind, the room was beautiful, the view was breathtaking, and the breakfast was fantastic, with homemade cakes and jams! Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: Good evening. We are two motorcyclists who stayed one night. I must say that when we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly sweet. We asked to park our bikes, and they immediately told us where to park them. The rooms were spotless. Then we ate there that evening. The dinner was wonderful and delicious. The view is breathtaking. Congratulations, and we promise we'll be back. Thank you all.

28/02/2026: Nestled among the Valpolicella vineyards in a quiet setting away from busy roads, El Pendola restaurant is intimate, welcoming, and romantic. We dined on delicious, tasty, and high-quality local dishes. The extremely friendly staff is always attentive to detail. We'll be back, but this time we'll start with the desserts. I couldn't try them because I was too full, but they look amazing.

Your dishes were masterfully prepared, refined, tasty, sophisticated (but not over the top), a wonderful discovery to have organized an evening in your restaurant!! Truly excellent!!! The service was excellent, the girl, splendid, discreet, refined and professional, accompanied us with elegance, on the proposed culinary journey. I will definitely be back, very very welcoming environment and unusual and very relaxing taste. I recommend it 100% to anyone who wants a wonderful 360° experience!!! Rating 10 with honors!!!

28/07/2025: Un’ottima scoperta a Fumane Ci è stata consigliata questa osteria e possiamo dire di esserne rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, il servizio cordiale e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale. La cucina si è rivelata eccellente, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti e consigliati con competenza. Senza dubbio un posto in cui torneremo volentieri alla nostra prossima visita a Fumane.

20/07/2025: First off the host off this establishment alone is a great reason to go and eat here. All the staff was extremely friendly and humorous. The location is great being right in the middle of the beautiful town of Fumane between the local vineyards. The Osteria is a rather old building packed with Italian flare, even featuring a pet parrot. The food was delicious, I got the tortelloni with burrata and butter sauce and let me tell you the texture and taste of this dish was sublime, with the bread crumbs being the cherry on top. I then got braised Ox cheek, which probably was one of the most tender meats I ate in my life. The atmosphere was great with locals coming to eat here and all in all just having a good time. I certainly want to return to eat here and recommend this Osteria to people looking to taste delicious seasonal Italian cuisine in the heart of Valpolicella.

07/09/2025: We went there for dinner. The place is very nice, with plenty of space inside and out, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. The welcome was very cold and there was little attention to the customer. The most disappointing part, however, was the bill. In addition to adding the extra cost for dessert, they also charged us for an extra bottle of wine that we didn't order. It's a shame I only noticed this when I got home. I don't think it was just an oversight.
