We asked to park our bikes, and they immediately told us where to park them. The rooms were spotless. Then we ate there that evening. The dinner was wonderful and delicious. The view is breathtaking. 25/11/2025: My husbands cousin Claudia lives in Verona so she booked this for my friend & I visiting from the US. We loved staying here as a central point to Milan, Verona, Cortina & Venice. The rooms were very clean. The staff was attentive to all our needs. They speak English & were able to give us recommendations. We ate breakfast here every morning of our stay & ate 1 evening meal that was delicious. It is very convenient to have the dining here before setting out each morning on your adventures. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend. 5 stars 🌟 🤩

The food was excellent, from the appetizer of fried tongue meatballs with pearà and salsa verde, to the fantastic beef stew with Amarone and polenta, and the sliced ​​pork tenderloin with apples and a licorice sauce reduction that paired perfectly. The desserts were very well made. The Ripasso di Ca dei Maghi was fragrant and beautifully bold, bringing back all the flavors of true Valpolicella.

10/11/2025: We were a group of six friends, two of us vegan, and everything was prepared vegan, delicious as were the other dishes! The set menu is varied, and you leave feeling full! Very fair prices, a dream location, and the owners are incredibly kind!

04/11/2025: There's nothing I don't love about the Caterina Country House! I've been there several times, and the service has always been excellent, and the food even better. The view is breathtaking and just adds to the experience. I loved it so much, I decided to host my wedding dinner there too: it was an unforgettable experience! Authentic, yet with attention to every detail. I'll be back again and again!

28/07/2025: Un’ottima scoperta a Fumane Ci è stata consigliata questa osteria e possiamo dire di esserne rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, il servizio cordiale e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale. La cucina si è rivelata eccellente, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti e consigliati con competenza. Senza dubbio un posto in cui torneremo volentieri alla nostra prossima visita a Fumane.

20/07/2025: First off the host off this establishment alone is a great reason to go and eat here. All the staff was extremely friendly and humorous. The location is great being right in the middle of the beautiful town of Fumane between the local vineyards. The Osteria is a rather old building packed with Italian flare, even featuring a pet parrot. The food was delicious, I got the tortelloni with burrata and butter sauce and let me tell you the texture and taste of this dish was sublime, with the bread crumbs being the cherry on top. I then got braised Ox cheek, which probably was one of the most tender meats I ate in my life. The atmosphere was great with locals coming to eat here and all in all just having a good time. I certainly want to return to eat here and recommend this Osteria to people looking to taste delicious seasonal Italian cuisine in the heart of Valpolicella.

07/09/2025: We went there for dinner. The place is very nice, with plenty of space inside and out, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. The welcome was very cold and there was little attention to the customer. The most disappointing part, however, was the bill. In addition to adding the extra cost for dessert, they also charged us for an extra bottle of wine that we didn't order. It's a shame I only noticed this when I got home. I don't think it was just an oversight.

12/09/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff. I stop here for lunch whenever I can. Excellent location, high up in the Lessini Mountains, with a beautiful view and plenty of fresh air. The wild boar is delicious. Try the desserts too.

07/11/2025: Spectacular pastry shop! 😍 Discovered by chance while passing through San Pietro in Cariano, we fell in love with it instantly. The brioches are enormous, the selection is vast and very inviting. We were captivated by the care and beauty of the mini pastries and the quality of the simply amazing vegan croissants! The staff is very close-knit, the guys are very kind, and the owners are exquisite and passionate about a job that over the years has become an art. It's featured in the best food guides, and you understand why from the first taste! TOP!
