01/01/2026: Whenever we go to do work in that area, we stop there. I wasn't familiar with the place, and a colleague of mine told me we should try it; the food is good, and he was right. I had a good lunch for €14-15; I don't remember the exact price, but overall it was good. I know it because there's a service station with a gas station, but I'd never noticed there was a restaurant at the end of the parking lot.

07/11/2025: Excellent business lunch, welcoming and bright! I stopped in for a business lunch and was very satisfied. The place is truly welcoming; I ate on the enclosed outdoor veranda, which makes the atmosphere very bright and pleasant, even for a lunch break. The staff was very kind and helpful. As for the food, the portions are generous and the cuisine is simple but good and tasty. Excellent value. Recommended!

08/05/2026: I've been frequenting Locanda al Piave for at least 35 years, and I must say that every time I return, I always have a great time and even try a few new dishes. What can I say, everything is delicious: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and excellent service. The prices are a bit steep, but in line with the numerous courses and other seafood restaurants. Always excellent.

04/01/2026: The quality of the fish is good, but the price is decidedly high. We made the mistake of not requesting the menu, and the restaurant made the mistake of not providing one, limiting itself to verbally announcing the dishes. Service was very slow; almost three hours for seven appetizers seems a bit excessive. Finally, the receipt lists a single €225 item (for three people) for appetizers, without any details on the cost of individual dishes, which doesn't appear particularly professional. We recommend greater transparency in communication and pricing.

03/05/2026: A place nestled in the pine forest. The food is good, even if it's nothing like a kiosk; it's a real restaurant, so even though it's close to the sea, it's best to dress appropriately. There's also outdoor seating, but under the shade (or not) of the maritime pines. The children's play area is small but adequate. The bathroom is very clean, but there's no changing table. I ate really well, paying just the right amount for the location and setting. The dishes were well-portioned...not gourmet, but not over the top either.

02/05/2026: We had lunch, ordered a seafood appetizer and shared it between two people; it was simple but overall good. We ordered spaghetti with lobster (for two people because they have to cut it in half, which is reasonable; €60 per couple). The dishes arrived, with a generous amount of pasta but a very strange aroma that didn't taste like fish... full of Parmesan cheese!!!! It was pasta and cheese! We tried the lobster tail and overall it was good, but the pasta was inedible. We reported the situation to the waitress, who immediately apologized, but later told me that the chef's recipe calls for Parmesan cheese, so perhaps less was needed (everyone does it their own way, I accept). As a replacement, we ordered a fried fish (1 portion). I went to pay and she charged me €50 for the lobster, explaining that it was the wrong pasta, not the lobster. Basically, on a €30 per person dish that we sent back without eating, she gave me a €5 discount. I wasn't very satisfied with the service and the quality. I'm not arguing whether it's right or wrong, but we think differently. Four glasses of wine, one appetizer, one fried dish. TOTAL €141.

27/07/2026: After a somewhat rigid and old-fashioned approach, we enjoyed excellent food. The atmosphere is clean, and it's worth a try for a tasty throwback to the 80s.

11/07/2026: I ordered a carbonara that unfortunately had way too much salt, mainly due to the bacon. When the food arrived, no one asked if everything was satisfactory – that should be standard practice in the restaurant industry, as I work in the industry myself. When we mentioned it at the end, they only asked if I had added pecorino cheese to the pasta. However, it wasn't even brought to the table. Despite our complaint, we still had to pay the full price. It's a shame, as the situation could have been handled much better with a little more attention.

06/07/2026: Try to go there during work days, our mistake was to to go on Saturday and there was queue at entrance (as in all restaurants on the main street), confused communication from service and we waited 1 hour for 3 pizzas (they have small kitchen). But pizzas were good, price reasonable (11 to 13 eur per piece).

27/07/2026: A 66cl beer and two portions of fries. The beer was very cold and the fries were very hot, but... the prices were medium/high for a place where I pay up front and have to get up to take my order.

24/07/2026: My wife and me had the pulled pork wrapped and the kebab piatto. They were simply delicious! The service was fast and the cashier was very kind!

25/06/2026: quite good value for your money. Friendly service and quality coffe and food. You can drink and eat while the kids are playing in the sand or in the Adria. ❤️🤌

14/06/2026: Thick-crust pizza slices that tasted good. The service was a bit chaotic, but quite alright. The location is lovely by the sea, but the bar is also the only access from the campsite to the beach, so there's almost constant foot traffic.
