16/02/2025: We chose Osteria da Franco for our daughter's baptism. The experience was above expectations. Impeccable organization, excellent, refined and quality dishes. Modern and tastefully maintained location. Courteous staff attentive to our every need. We will definitely be back!
07/02/2025: Osteria da Franco is more than an Osteria, it is rather difficult to define such a particular environment at the foot of the Cansiglio.
You have to try it, you eat well, you drink well, there is kindness and friendliness.
The fish is super (I don't eat meat) and the recipes are never banal and always linked to seasonality.
Cleanliness and hygiene everywhere.
Prices are appropriate for what you eat or drink.
In short, when you leave this "Osteria" you are already thinking about when you might return.

28/12/2024: Interesting menu and presentation different from the usual restaurants in the area.
It's absolutely worth the visit.
Prices are not farmhouse prices, but we are on other levels. I recommend it.
27/12/2024: Group dinners are a litmus test of the quality of a restaurant. Our first time here was for a Christmas dinner with around thirty diners and the experience was absolutely excellent. The mini tartare sandwiches and falafel served with the aperitif are real treats and the rest of the dinner was absolutely up to par.

When we went up to Pizzoc on Saturday 30th November we discovered this small but great farm run by Marco, a very good guy who masters everything and skilfully in the kitchen.
Delicious food, excellent mixed cold cuts and cheese platter and superb dumplings prepared by mother, even the top desserts!
Marco is an affable and very nice guy, he also advised us on a route to take to enjoy a splendid 360° panorama.
We will definitely be back 👏
01/12/2024: Ieri samo saliti al Pizzoc per fare una camminata approfittando della splendida giornata e abbiamo scoperto questo agriturismo, piccolo ma accogliente e famigliare, fantastico!
Abbiamo pranzato con un tagliere di salumi e formaggi e poi i canederli più buoni che abbia mai mangiato, per finire strudel e crostata alle ciliegie, tutto fatto in casa e super!
Bravissimo e simpatico Marco, il cuoco e gestore complimenti.

16/02/2025: After discovering Mainor in the old location, I couldn't help but try the new one. I found a warm and welcoming environment with kind and professional staff, impeccable service (special mention to Alessio). The courses (which I already knew well) reconfirmed the quality and research of raw materials that I remembered. The plus compared to before was certainly the bill, in my opinion more balanced than previously. Congratulations for the research and long live the staff made up of young people.

28/01/2025: One of the best fish restaurants in the area, I recommend the raw fish (fresh, affordable and tasty), the restaurant manager is attentive and kind, contributing to the success of a perfect evening. The kitchen is studied and harmonious. Definitely fair value for money.
02/01/2025: We went to the New Year's Eve dinner... excellent food and impeccable service, super friendly guys, helpful and always with a smile.
The cocktail they prepared for us was also top-notch.
We absolutely recommend this restaurant..
We will be back very soon.

02/12/2024: Warm and welcoming environment, it reminded me of an old aunt's country house and so I felt welcome. Regular clientele present and pleasant staff. The dishes are homemade and good. The tripe is excellent. The fireplace/brazier in the living room is beautiful. Two appetizers, two second courses, water, 1/4 of wine and two coffees €25 each.

29/12/2024: Super Gastfreundschaft. Sehr gut gegessen. Milchgrappa sensationell.
Ein Vermerk nebenbei. Hatte mit meinem Fz kein Benzin mehr und diese nette Familie hat für mich Benzin aufgetrieben.So was findet man heute nicht mehr.
Der Chef Dante, sehr sehr freundlich.
Nächstes Jahr komme ich wieder.
25/11/2024: Bella veduta della malga con una cucina semplice, tradizionale ma molto buona. Armarsi di pazienza per l’arrivo dei piatti ordinati ma visto il posto e la situazione conviviale è bello anche questo. Staff simpaticissimo

26/10/2024: Rifugio gradevole con personale simpatico, cordiale, e di compagnia, mangiato bene, e anche bevuto, giornata da fogliage e passeggiare in tranquillità.
06/09/2024: Piacevolissima sorpresa! Chiusa la strada per il Cansiglio, solo salito sul monte Pizzoc e, dopo una bella passeggiata in quota con un panorama mozzafiato, mi sono fermato a pranzare in questo rifugio/trattoria. Servizio “alla buona”, poche pietanze ma tutte tipiche della nostra cucina locale. Tagliatelle al ragù e pastin con funghi e polenta… eccezionali! Bravi, ci tornerò con la famiglia!

26/10/2024: Siamo capitati quasi per caso, rientrando dal Cansiglio e non avevamo prenotato.La cameriera è stata comunque carinissima e disponibile, ha trovato un angolino per noi. Cibo ottimo e servizio impeccabile, e un applauso particolare all' empatia e simpatia del personale.
