Great food in a great environment

Very nice and well-maintained place inside, well-set tables, friendly and attentive entrance with wardrobe, refined and sophisticated and very particular dishes worth going there once to try new flavours, only drawbacks are the price (but given the setting of the restaurant refined ) and the external facade of the restaurant....... 🤔

Excellent restaurant with original dishes.

This was my pricier meal during my stay and it was still well under $50. Took the chefs menu options and it was done very well. Menu is extremely small but everything I had was well thought out and although a bit unique the combination of ingredients with each dish worked pretty well. Steak slices on top of a mayonnaise coleslaw with small pieces of apple and a root vegetable I can't quite place along with a chocolate dessert topped with a homemade caramel popcorn is a bit too complicated for someone with simple tastes but everything tasted very nice and went surprisingly well together. Staff was extremely friendly and although Im here in the off peak season and as early as it gets for dinner the atmosphere was still nice. Hard to eat here multiple times back to back as part of the hotel, but the meal I had was quite nice for a singular experience.

Very beautiful and romantic place, impeccable service, very good food even if some dishes didn't visually impress me due to their color (some were brown). It is probably the seasonality of products such as radicchio, lentils, beans. Although this soup is good, either you enhance it with some enticing colour, or it looks like a home-made blended soup. Ditto for the brown tufts on green pea sauce... their appearance doesn't make you want to eat them. The rest all fine.

Meraviglioso percorso gustativo e sensoriale , organizzato da un giovane e professionale staff , con a capo lo Chef Elia che dirige a pieni voti la sua squadra . I risultati sono eccellenti, qualità e ricerca dei prodotti del territorio, abbinamenti e contrasti di sapori da favola “reale” , servizio attento e professionale. Tutta la magia , immersa in uno storico albergo “ Calvi “ , il quale, accentua e valorizza grazie ad una curata ed elegante “da sempre “location interna ed esterna . Complimenti a tutti per aver creato e da sempre migliorato il buono e il bello in cordialità familiare e professionale.

The bill was really expensive compared to what you ate. Normal dishes, but really skimpy portions. As a location it's like being in a hotel lobby, cold.

Ottima sorpresa. Portati da amici, sicuramente porteremo altri amici. Mitico Chef... Sguardo da simpatico timido pazzo ma con una creatività culinaria da sballo! Come ci è finito a Fregona è tutto un mistero... Bravo!

Cibo eccellente, l’uovo al tartufo da capogiro. Fiori di pasta con la zucca e Tataki fantastici. Il personale è attento, disponibile e gentile. Peccato per il locale un po’ datato che abbassa la qualità totale. Consiglio di accendere i riscaldamenti in bagno!!! Comunque ritorneremo sicuramente.
