13/08/2025: An excellent starting point for excursions within the Po Delta. Recently renovated hotel, spacious rooms with all the comforts. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is excellent, and the prices are in line with the service offered. We'll definitely return.

30/06/2025: We stopped at the Il Covo pizzeria restaurant thanks to the advice of a local and I must say that he advised us well. The restaurant is very large inside, but there is also the possibility of having lunch outside under a porch or under a gazebo and we chose to stay outside given the good weather. We were 2 adults and a child. We ordered a fixed menu for 12 euros (for the child) which included a first course, a second course and a side dish, and two plates of spaghetti with clams and a mixed fried food. The portions were very very abundant and rich, very tasty and satisfying dishes both in taste and to the sight. The staff were kind and friendly. Excellent prices. If we return to Porto Tolle we will definitely stop at the Il Covo restaurant.

06/08/2025: Really delicious dishes, but the mixed grill wasn't filling (a second potato would definitely have been possible). The waiter was friendly and quick, but the waitress unfortunately had no desire to speak Italian (like talking to guests who don't speak Italian?). The bill was €61. We would have paid €65, but were pretty much ignored when we declined dessert. We waited forever for the bill, then waited another 15 minutes for our money to be collected (there were only about 20 guests in the room for two waiters), so we left €62 and left. Conclusion: Really delicious, but also expensive; you have to be lucky with the service. Edith: We're currently in Venice (the island), where a whole meal with starter and main course costs as much as a single plate of pasta at Renata's. Venice!! Cheeky!

04/08/2025: I was expecting a I was expecting a modest place with little choice, but instead I entered a very welcoming place with a vast selection of delicacies. A paradise for seafood lovers. The service was extremely efficient, kind, and fast. Highly recommended 👍 Well done!

08/08/2025: Wow, I was pleasantly surprised despite the good reviews I'd read beforehand. A really nice atmosphere both inside and out. Very friendly staff and short wait times. The food portions were large and of good quality. The children's dishes would have been large enough for an adult. I think the price/performance ratio is very good. I definitely recommend it! P.S. The menu is in Italian, but it's easy to translate using Google Translate on your phone.

09/07/2025: Sono stato in questo locale sul delta per 3 volte negli ultimi due mesi. 2 esperienze eccezionali ed una con una pecca che mi ha fatto perdere l'entusiasmo. Pesce fresco e locale, si mangia quello che viene prodotto ( e purtroppo le vongole sono state vittime del granchio blu), porzioni abbondanti e personale gentile. Proprietario che ci sa fare. Se lo avessi recensito dopo le prime due volte, avrei dato 5 con lode, purtroppo la terza volta, abbiamo preso il tagliere di antipasti, tutto buono tranne una cicala di mare andata a male, la testa odorava vistosamente. Ho fatto notare la cosa e come riposta mi sono sentito dire sia dal cuoco che dal proprietario: " può succedere" con tono un po' troppo arrogante. Sicuramente può succedere, ma quanto meno bisognerebbe chiedere scusa.

20/07/2025: We chose La Fraterna because it was in an ideal location for the bike excursions we wanted to do. The family welcome was warm and welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable. We were even able to store our bikes indoors. We had excellent first courses for dinner, and for the second course, a platter that couldn't fit on the table, so large and plentiful it was. Everyone was very kind and helpful: Alice, Mattia, the parents, and even little Mia and Gaia. Last year we were here almost by chance, this year we chose it very much!

21/07/2025: We came here to use the slide and launch the boat, and while we were there, we grabbed a bite to eat. Quick service and quality food. All the staff were very kind and helpful, and they also gave me great advice on how to navigate the delta by boat. I'll definitely be back very soon.

16/07/2025: I can tell you about my experience in the restaurant. On Sunday, I ate some good fish, very fresh mussels, and a dry, abundant fried dish. Prices were reasonable, and the service was prompt and accurate. I like these fairly intimate spaces because they aren't too chaotic or crowded. One piece of advice I'd give to the restaurant: keep it that way. Offer just a few dishes and keep the quality high. This is the secret to attracting the right clientele.

21/05/2025: We booked a day in advance and then, in company, there were 13 of us, we had a delicious fish meal. Huge appetizer, fresh fish and raw oysters delicious. A huge turbot, decent wine and when the bill arrived we were amazed at the honesty of the prices. Congratulations again and see you next time.

10/04/2025: Excellent fish restaurant. The appetizer is highly recommended as it alone is enough to satiate all palates. The first courses are good, the second courses are excellent, the cellar is well stocked and attentive to all your needs. The attentive and discreet service. The only note is that the room was a little too crowded, but otherwise an obligatory stop for lovers of fresh fish.

24/08/2025: Today we went to Osteria Arcadia, so for two starters that were supposed to be generous but were actually average, a main course and a side dish, 1/4 cup of wine, a bottle of water, and two coffees, we spent €75. What can I say? Total disappointment. Who knows what Borghese saw in this place, but there's a much better trattoria nearby.

24/08/2025: On Thursday, August 21, 2025, for the second time in a month and a half, we visited this magnificent restaurant, and I enjoyed the best and most complete mixed fried fish I've ever eaten; crispy, with at least six different types of fish, plus octopus, shrimp, and crayfish. The first courses, with homemade pasta, were also delicious, and there was a good selection of the catch of the day. All this in a very welcoming atmosphere with friendly and professional service. Highly recommended!

27/07/2025: Very nice and well-kept place. It's improved a lot, but at a truly insane price. I mean, it's almost luxury now. A very ordinary Margherita costs €7.50, definitely too much for the place it's in. Not to mention the rest. It has everything from meat, fish, and pizzas. Attentive staff, clean place, disabled facilities, and babysitting service available. Ample parking. The location is a little inconvenient, but excellent for their goals. You can stay here and host all sorts of parties. The only real problem is the truly excessive price increase. Too bad.
