20/04/2026: When you arrive here, you forget the outside world. There's ample parking (but if you really need it, you can drive right up to the entrance), and a short walk will immerse you in the atmosphere of this meticulously renovated Casale Veneto. You'll find yourself immersed in the greenery surrounding the large park, complete with a pond with ducks and three pools heated from April to October. One is shaped like a large heart, one is for relaxation, and one is for children, all generally open from April to October. Excellent hotel options; we dined at the farmhouse restaurant. Homemade fettuccine sautéed with morels (or morels) picked locally. Some chose the rib-eye steak, "like nothing in Tuscany...", while we enjoyed lamb chops that were truly "scottadito." Two non-meat eaters chose the scallops au gratin and a delicious yellowfin tuna steak with asparagus. A variety of vegetables were available for everyone. We finished with a green apple sorbet. A well-stocked wine list, some of which are produced in the surrounding hills of the Podere. An excellent location for banquets, especially weddings, but also offers attractive, budget-friendly options for family gatherings.

Fantastic experience! The waiter Alessandro was exceptional: super kind, helpful, and always attentive to every detail, truly an added value to the service. The dishes were simply delicious, not to mention plentiful: top-notch quality and incredible flavors! Excellent value for money. I can't wait to go back, highly recommended!

L'Orso a Pieve

09/03/2025: A very unique place specializing in burgers. The menu offers limited choices, with each burger varying in one or two ingredients. 160g of meat and a medium-sized burger, "served with fries" (at least that's what the menu says): €15. The fries that come with the burger aren't even a handful; for €15, we expected much more. The polenta (separately) is good.
On the menu, they offer a rib sandwich for €20. It's a large portion but very difficult to eat: we had to dismantle the entire bun and remove every bone; I wouldn't eat it again as a burger. The ribs weren't tender and were cooked at a low temperature; the meat was still attached to the bone.
To sum up, for a burger: very high prices, medium sized burger portions, and very small fries portions.
