06/04/2024: Takeaway: Let me start by saying that I have been buying ice cream at LaRomana for years. Recently whipped cream seems much more industrial and ice cream, regardless of flavor, too sugary! Prices then increased... 👎
06/04/2024: one of the best, if not the best ice cream shop in Padua, it's just a shame that almost all the tables and chairs are very often occupied by non-customers who camp out without consuming

02/04/2024: primo requisito per la Pizza ( con la P maiuscola) : forno a legna ( e non venite a parlarmi di forno elettrico o a gas, quelle pizze lasciamole ai burocrati della comunita' europea e a chi non capisce di pizza napoletana).
.. e requisito soddisfatto... quindi ci siamo accomodati in un locale carino e accogliente per gustare una pizza squisita, come raramente mi e' capitato di mangiarne ... Pizza rigorosamente alla napoletaana, ovvero cornicione e ingredienti di primordine... unica pecca la mancanza della classica Capricciosa.. Cani ben accetti... anche se ho preso un cicchetto dalla signora ( immagino la proprietaria) per non averlo segnalato nelle note della prenotazione online... ci sta il cicchetto... forse un tono meno perentorio avrebbe prodotto lo stesso effetto risultando piusgradevole avendo inoltre immediatamente chiesto scusa per la mancanza....

06/04/2024: I came to Padua for the first time and tried the historic Pedrotti coffee. Very crowded and noisy place. At the counter I ordered 2 espressos and 2 orzi. We were out of large cups so, after making two espressos and an orzo, we had to wait. Then a cup arrived that was rinsed under water and not even dried. Finally we were served the missing orzo while the other espressos were now cold. When we expressed our doubts about the customer care method, the girl at the counter was very rude. Unfortunately, to be classified as a quality bar, we are still far from being defined as such.
28/03/2024: I ordered a cappuccino and cornette for breakfast.The waitress was friendly, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable.The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely.

13/05/2024: 110 cum laude with an academic kiss and a hug from the academic commission. What to say:
The 7-veil cake, named for the 7 types of chocolate, like the 7 days of the week, like the 7 musical notes, is the champion of the cake world, combined with its cream.
For me it wasn't just eating a simple cake, but a mystical experience. I will never be able to describe in words what it feels like; you need to do it
You too will experience this, at least once in your life.
The rest of the pastry shop is no different. Trust and try, and then return to this magical place.
12/05/2024: Good morning
This morning with my husband, we went to the well-known Biasetto pastry shop to have breakfast and we had the very unpleasant surprise of being denied access to the internal room complete with a sign, as we had our dachshund Greta with us.
Obviously we made our disappointment known, but the waitress also told us to read the sign placed at the entrance to the room. Furthermore, he also reminded us that for those with dogs, it is possible to sit on the stools, placed in front of the counter!
But does Biasetto know that all this is called "discrimination"???
CROSS UP AND NEVER AGAIN BIASETTO!!!!
SHAME ON YOU!!!!

21/03/2024: More than good quality of sandwiches and ingredients. A little expensive for certain dishes, but if you take the sandwich + beer offer I would say the price is normal also because the quality of the beers is above average.

01/04/2024: me and my friend waited for over an hour only for one meal to come, then we waited for the second meal only to find out they thought we only ordered one meal?? and then i asked how much longer we would have to wait for the second meal, to which they replied "you will have to wait some more time". i then told them to cancel the order, we shared that one meal and left to eat something else cause we were still hungry. it's normal for waiters to make mistakes, but the fact that noone even apologized, let alone offered some kind of compensation, is really unprofessional and rude overall. at the end we payed 20eur for one meal, one bottle of water and the "service", which is just ridiculous.

They make one of the best gluten-free doughs I've ever found and the choice of ingredients is excellent too.
All the staff were also very good and kind.

06/04/2024: Gluten-free paradise! Excellent GF pizzas and choice of beers on tap. Lovely salads too. Very affordable prices and bustling atmosphere. Worth seeking out whether GF or not. Lovely mix of GF and non GF diners many clearly regulars some seeking it out - everyone seemed happy.

06/04/2024: I finally tried an ice cream at Venchi, after several queues, I managed to taste this cup.... Good, but I was thinking of something more, honestly. Friendly staff, above average prices. Overall I gave it 4 stars, because everything presents itself really well, with a varied assortment and special coffees, which I will try as soon as possible. Perfect location, a stone's throw from the squares, in the historic center of Padua.

ATTENTION, THE MENUS UPLOADED ON GOOGLE MAPS ARE OBSOLETE! FOR EXAMPLE THEY NO LONGER MAKE GLUTEN FREE DOUGH OR CREAMED BACCALA! I was a little taken aback by the news because I had relied on the information found here in the previous comments. It must be said that the waiter was understanding and allowed me to order the porcini risotto even though it was indicated for a minimum of two people.
The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was just right and the creaming was successful... However, I detected an excess of pepper which covered the flavor of the mushrooms... Too bad! And I say this as a lover of peppery dishes!
Overall, acceptable value for money (considering the location).
28/02/2024: Very nice and elegant environment.
Friendly but poorly trained waiter, when asked how the fassona tartare was served he was unable to answer.
