The dishes are a triumph of authentic flavors: from rich and tasty appetizers to homemade first courses, up to masterfully cooked second courses. Each course tells the story of Umbrian tradition with a touch of refinement. Very fresh ingredients and generous portions, all accompanied by an excellent selection of local wines.
The waiter was exceptional: friendly, attentive, always available to advise with passion and expertise. He made lunch even more enjoyable with his friendliness and professionalism.
And as if that were not enough, the restaurant holds a fascinating surprise: a real underground labyrinth, which can be visited at the end of the meal. A place rich in history and mystery, which adds a unique touch to the culinary experience. A perfect combination of good food and culture.
Highly recommended for those looking for authentic flavors and an atmosphere that leaves its mark
30/05/2025: The perfect restaurant to spend a pleasant evening. The waiter was very kind, welcoming and very friendly. All the dishes were excellent, and the history that is behind the restaurant is incredible, the fact that they make it available to customers is very nice.

10/05/2025: A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Orvieto. We ordered the tasting menu which was very good, plentiful and excellent for the price. The owners are very nice. They also have a great gluten-free menu.

27/03/2025: Mi è stato regalato un vaucher per 2 giorni in PENSIONE COMPLETA ad esculsione delle bevande ed un'ora di percorso benessere.
Premesso che per due giorni il menu è sempre stato lo stesso, con porzioni scarse, al momento di saldare le bevande ci è stato chiesto un extra perché, secondo loro, la pensione completa comprendeva solo DUE PORTATE, oltremodo ci hanno chiesto 4 euro per un bottiglia di acqua e 2,50 per un caffè.
Posto da EVITARE.

15/04/2025: Paramos para un almuerzo tardío cuando conducíamos desde Roma a Montepulciano. ¡Era justo lo que necesitábamos! La pizza era deliciosa, la ensalada era fresca, y la sopa era cálida y reconfortante. El servicio también fue muy amable. Fue una gran opción después de un largo día de viaje.

04/05/2025: We stopped because the place looked nice and welcoming but it was a bad idea. There weren't many occupied tables, and of these almost all of them were already eating, there were only three of us but we waited almost an hour for the three dishes we ordered to be served, which arrived separately, so when mine arrived, my daughter and my husband had already finished eating, in addition to the fact that they didn't serve us the wine until we asked for it for the umpteenth time after the food had already arrived. My spaghetti with lupins was inedible because it was so salty that you couldn't taste any other taste. Absolutely not recommended

02/10/2024: Lugar encantador, muy bien decorado y el patio exterior era bastante romántico. El servicio era impecable y la pizza era genial. Cocinado en horno de leña con una bonita corteza fina. ¡Perfecto! Buen vino también.

15/12/2023: Sono andato un sabato a mangiare con amici prezzo nella media..sui 20 .tornato pochi sabati dopo preso le stesse portate più o meno prezzo 35 . Capisco tutto ma 15 euro di aumento è veramente troppo ...NCS

02/05/2025: Volevamo prenderci un gelato dopo cena, vedendo la porta aperta siamo entrati dal lato caffetteria e il titolare ci ha salutato senza problemi. Quando siamo arrivati al banco della gelateria, la ragazza ci ha accusato di essere entrati con la porta chiusa e con una certa maleducazione ci ha detto che erano in chiusura. A quel punto abbiamo chiesto scusa facendo notare che la porta era aperta e che dalla caffetteria nessuno ci avesse fermato e visto l’atteggiamento della ragazza alla fine abbiamo deciso di prendere un solo gelato anziché due, che si è poi rivelato di pessima qualità.
Ci sarebbe bastato un “mi dispiace stiamo chiudendo” che saremmo andati via senza dare fastidio, piuttosto che la maleducazione nell’accogliere i clienti. Sconsigliamo vivamente, visto che oltretutto il gelato sicuramente non è artigianale.
15/12/2024: Gelato pessimo, abbiamo preso diversi gusti sanno solo di zucchero, non si distingue minimamente il sapore tra un gusto ed un altro, camerieri lenti e con poca esperienza.
