Ristorante Tipico al Dosarel

15/03/2025: An authentic and unforgettable experience!
I was at the Typical Restaurant at Dosarel and I must say that it was a pleasant experience from every point of view. The food is simply excellent: we tried the potato tortei with cured meats and cheeses, the canederli and the ravioli, and I couldn't really choose my favourite... they were all exceptional! The desserts are also good!
But what struck me even more was the warmth of the place: you can feel the love and care behind it, from the history of the restaurant - born from an old stable transformed into a wonderful environment - up to the service, which was impeccable, attentive and incredibly kind. I felt welcomed as if I were at a friend's house, and this is a feeling that few places can convey.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy quality typical dishes in an authentic and welcoming environment, this restaurant is a must try. I'm not from the area, but I will try to go back!
09/03/2025: We went for lunch today, the place is very nice. We took two potato cakes (18 euros each). They brought us some very good tortei (I would say a sufficient number). Too bad that the side dish was really poor: one slice of salami each, one of speck (there were two half slices each), a couple of slices of bacon and ham. Three pieces of cheese and a jam. A cup of borlotti and capusso (which I recommend bringing first because it is good if seasoned in advance). Two bites and we had finished the accompaniment. We asked if we can have some more cured meats and they served us another platter (a little more generous than the first). With this we ate enough. We had a glass of house wine which was good. At the checkout we realize that for the addition of the cold cuts they charged us 10.80 for a cutting board. If I ask if I can have some more cold cuts and you bring me a paid cutting board, you tell me. I have eaten tortei in the area many times and have never had them bring me two slices of cross-cured meat. The tortel in Val di is not famous and generally you eat a nice plate of it and they usually ask you if you want other tortei/companaticos without extra costs. After our complaint they kindly reduced the cost of the cutting board to 5 euros. I wouldn't stop because I don't think it's right to find myself in this situation. I would rather propose the tortel for a few euros more but I would give a portion that is not ridiculous. The diner will then decide whether to spend that money (but he knows this before ordering, otherwise you are forced to avoid leaving hungry)
