10/02/2025: Nice place very well furnished and elegant, visually beautiful dishes, but in essence something is missing, that something that enhances the tastes. I was with a large table and we had an agreed menu, the hot bread brought on the spot was excellent, the spaghetti with sea urchins on the other hand was a little disappointing, well cooked and certainly of an excellent brand but with little sauce which was too compact and not very pleasant on the palate and what's more you really had to look for the flavor of the sea urchins as it was so light. The second much vaunted as a dish that made the restaurant famous, i.e. Wellington-style tuna fillet, very good in taste even if simple in construction but unfortunately wrong in cooking the tuna which certainly should have been cooked less. Above all of this, I would like to mention the haughtiness of the owner which is promptly out of place, as is the price: too expensive, if they managed to fill the gaps in the kitchen, which are otherwise small, it could also be worth the price and a few more stars in the rating.

03/11/2024: Ottima locanda , personale cortese , cibo ottimo prezzo giusto . Ottimo i taglieri con salumi e formaggi di qualità, pulizia buona e tempi di attesa normali (anche perché l’orario era vicino alla chiusura quindi poca gente ) . Ci ritornerei .

Carefully prepared dishes starting from the presentation to the choice of raw materials.
The prawns in filo pastry are a delight for the palate.
Try the desserts to share... one better than the other.
Professional service, friendly staff ready to satisfy every need.
Always a pleasure to return.
The wine list is interesting.
Excellent quality/price ratio
The only advice I can give is that at the entrance there are boxes containing the wines and in terms of "furniture" they clash with the surrounding environment.

Really good! We highly recommend it. We can't wait to return for our next holidays, just to eat here and that says a lot. Keep it up!

15/02/2025: After reading the reviews, I was very excited. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food wasn't freshly cooked, just warmed up. I specifically took the recommendation of the day. The baked scallops weren't even lukewarm. The branzino is a high-quality fish that has already been pre-cooked and is therefore dry. The potatoes were cooked too soft and also warmed up. Since I have trained as a chef myself, this is an absolute “no go”. Why this restaurant has such good reviews is a mystery to me. Nothing is fresh there. More appearance than reality. Too bad

03/01/2025: I'll start by saying that the so-called meat "raviolacci" taken in this place were among the best ravioli dishes I've ever eaten: cooked perfectly al dente, well filled, seasoned with the right amount of aromatic herbs.
Out of curiosity, since we didn't know it, we also took a Gröstel (with eggs and speck), a typical Trentino dish: very good, but I warn you, also very filling. There are so many variations on offer, so there is something for everyone.
The cut of cold cuts and cheeses as a starter was good, while the cheesecake was less good, it had an excessively sweet cream on top, almost like a frosting.
Courteous and helpful staff.
20/11/2024: Outstanding Italian cuisine, there are a lot of restaurants in Riva, but this one charmed us the most, first of all, it is open in the season at times when a tourist, e.g. from Poland like me, wants to eat dinner, many local restaurants open in the season around 6-7 p.m., which has its justification, they serve wonderful, carefully prepared dishes with fresh ingredients and at the end you have to wait literally a moment for your dish, and the service is wonderful, so during our 2-week stay we ate mainly in the wonderful Riva Mia🔥💖

30/10/2024: We had 2 spritz aperols around 7 p.m. thinking there was an aperitivo but we had nothing other than our 2 spritzes which were quite diluted. Don't go to this bar if you think you'll have an aperitivo.

13/10/2024: Das Eis ist wirklich sehr lecker! Wir mussten uns wahrhaftig auf die Suche nach einem guten Eis machen und sind zum Glück fündig geworden. So lecker-da könnte man sich den ganzen Tag durchessen!
03/10/2024: Wir waren ca. 2 Wochen in Riva und fast täglich in dieser Gelateria. Die Auswahl war super, die Qualität ausgezeichnet und der Service immer sehr freundlich.

26/01/2025: Sono stata con amici (5 persone totali) in questo locale per una cena a gennaio. Essendo sabato sera abbiamo preferito prenotare.
Arrivo alle ore 20:15.
Per cominciare, prima di riuscire a ordinare è passata almeno una mezz'ora e un'altra buona mezz'ora prima che iniziassero a servire alcuni piatti.
In questo lasso di tempo, c'è stata una grande confusione su chi avesse preso la nostra comanda, tant'è che sono venuti due diversi camerieri con aria confusa a chiederci se avessimo già ordinato.
Probabilmente la nostra comanda è andata persa poco dopo, perché nelle successive due ore più della metà dei piatti non sono mai arrivati, nonostante le nostre richieste poste con gentilezza (almeno 3 volte) di poterci portare quello che mancava. La risposta è sempre stata "Sì sì" e poi forse sono arrivati due piatti e alla distanza di mezz'ora l'uno dell'altro.
Ora, in 5 persone, considerato che un piatto di uramaki ha massimo 6 pezzi, siamo arrivati alle 23 ancora con un buco nello stomaco.
Abbiamo continuato a chiedere e siamo stati ignorati tutte le volte.
Zero disponibilità.
Alle 23:30 (orario di chiusura) abbiamo chiesto per l'ennesima volta i piatti mancanti alla signora in cassa, che immagino essere la caposala. Stessa risposta "sisì", mai arrivato niente.
Al che, rassegnati, ci siamo alzati e diretti in cassa per pagare. Pur sapendo benissimo delle nostre numerose richieste ci è stato a malapena chiesto scusa, finché non abbiamo fatto notare che metà dei piatti ordinati non sono mai arrivati, nonostante i numerosi solleciti.
La signora alla cassa ci ha esposto il totale: 185 euro (menù base + 6 bottiglie di acqua, niente dolci, anche perché non ci siamo arrivati). Abbiamo chiesto con gentilezza se poteva venirci incontro visto il pessimo servizio e il fatto che andavamo via dopo 4 ore (nemmeno ad un matrimonio in sud Italia) con una fame da lupi. Lei ha risposto proponendoci uno sconto misero che siamo riusciti almeno a portare a 170€. Non è andata oltre perché cito testuali parole "il capo non vuole". Allora mi rivolgo al capo: se pensate di campare svolgendo un servizio di questo tipo, non ammettendo minimamente uno sbaglio, perché può capitare, e provando a rimediare, tanti auguri. Perché noi abbiamo avuto uno sconto di 3€ EURO A TESTA, a dir poco imbarazzante considerata la situazione, ma state certi che non ci metteremo più piede. Peccato per il cibo che siamo riusciti ad assaggiare, che era buono, ma state alla larga, ci sono posti con una buona qualità e dove le persone sanno fare il loro lavoro.
