13/01/2025: My recent visit to Bar La Dogana in Altopascio was decidedly unpleasant. The main problem lies in the attitude of the staff, which demonstrates a worrying lack of professionalism and respect towards customers. During my stay, I observed the staff chatting amongst themselves at the counter, completely ignoring the customers waiting to be served. This attitude denotes a lack of attention to customer service and a lack of consideration for patrons' time. The most disconcerting episode occurred when I made a simple request: less hot tea. Instead of handling the request professionally, the staff responded with derision, openly laughing and making inappropriate comments about the boiling temperature of the water. This behavior is not only disrespectful, but also demonstrates a lack of understanding of customer preferences and basic service concepts. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant experience and professional service. Staff should be properly trained on customer handling and the importance of courtesy in the restaurant industry.

05/01/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. I went for an aperitif and I have to say it was very good... wonderful platter! The desserts are also excellent...a really wide choice. I will definitely return.
