04/09/2025: I found the rudest staff ever working here, who decided to laugh/gossip in our faces while our 7 year old was looking for something to eat across their dry, miserable selection of panini.
It definitely shows maturity and adequate profile for the job at hand, even when politely addressed in Italian, so here's my appreciation for that funny moment of disservice and second-hand shame.
There's no decent measure of ice cream that can save this place. Drive elsewhere, you're better off - I sure did.
30/08/2025: 08/25 Confectionery right under the castle. Prices are higher, but not surprising considering the location. We tried the ice creams, they were luxurious. The chocolate one was just like chocolate, not too sweet at all. The cappuccino coffee was good. They have a choice of ice cream in a cone or in a cup. The cup has several sizes, the small one is completely sufficient, they didn't cut off a penny like in the guilds, but a reasonable portion. They had a special method of payment and ordering here. At the cashier you first pay for what you choose and then they give it to you. You can sit inside, but we had no service, we had to bring it to a table ourselves and in the room where we sat there was quite annoying music playing loudly. They had ice cream cones there, but they didn't cut them for us, we would have to buy them whole, which was about 8 portions. You can park for free nearby. The service is pleasant.

15/02/2025: Bellissima serata, atmosfera soft e gradevole, servizio ai tavoli in maniera impeccabile, staff gentile e professionale.
Cena ottima, raffinata e abbondante.
08/09/2024: Esperienza da non ripetere mai più. Gestione del personale di sala scarsa e management con poca sensibilità nei confronti dei clienti.
Poco personale di sala per gestire più di 200 persone, per chiedere qualcosa ad un cameriere (ragazzi tutti educati e gentili, almeno loro) bisognava sparare un razzo di segnalazione... Abbiamo ordinato i misti caldi e le pizze intorno alle 21:10. I misti caldi sono arrivati dopo circa mezz'ora, le pizze sono arrivate alle 22:50, inoltre tutte con impasto classico in quanto quello contemporaneo (che tutti noi 8 commensali avevamo ordinato) era finito. Le pizze discrete, ingredienti buoni con un impasto classico, peccato non aver provato l'impasto contemporaneo... Quello che non ci farà più tornare è il comportamento del management. A fine cena è passato il pizzaiolo che faceva il giro dei tavoli, ci siamo un po' lamentati sia dell'assenza dell'impasto contemporaneo sia della troppa attesa e ci ha risposto con tono di sufficienza che nell'attesa ci siamo goduti il fresco... Ma che risposta è?! Al tavolo accanto, composto da 3 persone che venivano da Palermo, si sono lamentati per la troppa attesa per le pizze, il titolare ha mandato a dire tramite un cameriere che se non gli andava bene la lunga attesa se ne potevano andare... Quando sono andato a pagare il conto alla cassa il titolare non si è scusato per la troppa attesa, non ha neanche alzato gli occhi dai conti che stava facendo e nel frattempo dava ordini al personale di sala in tono perentorio. In un periodo in cui molte pizzerie servono un prodotto di alta qualità a fare la differenza è il modo in cui viene trattato il cliente, alla Ficurinnia probabilmente i clienti non mancano, quindi non gli interessa se alcuni non torneranno più.
