09/07/2025: Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience – never again!
We recently ate pizza at this restaurant and were unfortunately served very poorly. Although the waiter clearly saw me, we were completely ignored – instead, only the local guests were served in a friendly and courteous manner. I had to shout "Hello!" loudly for him to even notice us and for us to finally get the bill.
Particularly annoying: The tip (a whole 10 euros!) was simply withheld without being asked – without a word of explanation, without a thank you, just silently. The remaining amount was placed on our table without comment. We also had to ask for salt and spicy oil – at other tables, everything was already ready. The Italian guests at the next table were even served fresh bread – but we didn't get anything.
It was an all-around unpleasant experience. We had actually planned to eat here together with the whole family when we returned to Sardinia in September. From the outside, the restaurant looks nice – located right on the harbor. But after this treatment: definitely never again. Not only did we lose our appetite – the whole atmosphere was ruined.
It's an absolute disgrace how tourists are treated here. Pure rip-off. Our tip: Think carefully about where you eat – and read the reviews beforehand. If we had, we would have seen that such incidents are apparently not uncommon there. It's a real shame!
As for the food: it wasn't anything special, we had to add more seasoning, but otherwise it was okay.

29/06/2025: Incredible service. The waiter who served us explained the entire menu. We chose two very different and original pizzas. Parmiginia with a stuffed crust. Delicious! It's usually full. It's best to book or arrive early.

23/06/2025: The food was delicious, but the noodle portions were very small. The welcome wasn't particularly friendly. It was very difficult to order anything, as they apparently had no English skills. If you don't sit right at the front, which is almost always occupied, you'll be seated in a dingy corner.

07/07/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant on the first night of our vacation.
Poor food, waiters who can't be called such. We sat down at 10 pm and after an hour and a half the first course arrived.
Pasta with mussels really inedible so much so that we sent it back to the kitchen.
Really negative experience!!!

I ordered grilled meat with vegetables and it was very tasty!
I would like to separately note the friendliness of the staff. The food was prepared quickly. The waiter was friendly, helped to pack the leftovers to take away. The employee who took the payment was nice and friendly. She also asked where we were from and whether we liked Sardinia.
The staff spoke English, which was a huge advantage!

30/06/2025: Such a shame, they've turned a cool surf spot into a Disneyland for tourists. Instead of surfing, there are now huge fenced-in swimming areas, and you can't leave your own equipment anywhere on the beach anymore because there are too many families with umbrellas and sun loungers blocking access to the water. And unfortunately, since this year, the surf instructors have been blocking the entire permitted corridor for entering the sea to surf. When we asked, we were told that since this year, it's no longer permitted to leave private surf equipment in the huge zone in front of the permitted access to the sea. It's only permitted to leave private surf equipment in the beach areas where the swimming zones are, and these are completely overcrowded, so there's no room. So there's no safe area left for your own private surf equipment, not even for customers! A real shame about what was once Italy's coolest surf spot. Families probably bring in more money 😕
However, the Rupis Bar & Chill Out were top , the food was delicious, and the service was super friendly! Brilliant parties in the evening :-)

01/07/2025: A fantastic location! You can watch a sunset that you will find hard to forget! Very kind staff, the owner follows each table with dedication.
The menu includes very good, varied and high quality dishes, even if it is local food prepared with ancient home recipes.
Average price if compared to the quality offered. I recommend a dinner a little different from the usual waterfront kiosk!

01/07/2025: Kindness and friendliness of Mrs. Lina, excellent food at the end of lunch they also offered us a fabulous tart, for 4 of us taking 2 first courses and 2 second courses we spent 64 euros and we were more than full.... I recommend it

24/06/2025: Very nice tavern but the best part is undoubtedly the food, simply fantastic, exactly like the chef and the host, you can feel the passion and attention to cooking everywhere. Highly recommended also to those who, like us, are vegan.
24/06/2025: The ambiance is quite simple, but still beautifully done. Very friendly, and the waiter happily explained the menu in detail, which was a bit too much for me and my friends. The food was very attractively presented and delicious. We liked that there were also vegetarian/vegan options.
Reservations are recommended.

Update 2025:
Even after all these years, the Nuraghe is a guarantee. These days we tasted for the first time the pizza with Nutella and chopped hazelnuts, kindly offered by Gianni! Out of this world goodness!! It is a pizza with very little salt because I noticed that it does not affect the weight and for me who am always on a diet it is perfect! I hope to return in October and it will be the first stop as in all these 15 years.
I want to thank the incredible kindness of the owner Gianni and renew my compliments for his magical pizza, light, crunchy, thin and excellently seasoned :)
Hurray for the Nuragheeee!!! See you soon!
