07/06/2025: Very good ice cream, a great selection, good cakes, and coffee specialties. As a special treat, I tried a brioche with gelato. 😋
We didn't experience incorrect charges like other reviewers did. Plus, the price list is posted on the wall, and if you order correctly, you'll be charged the correct price. We'll be back 👍

20/08/2025: We had dinner and ordered linguine al cartoccio and seafood fregola. Both dishes were well-cooked and flavorful, with a special mention for the linguine, which was truly delicious. The fregola, while good, was served in a rather modest portion. We paired the meal with a house Vermentino, which was pleasant on the palate but decidedly strong: it was noticeable after the first glass.
The sore point of the evening was the wait: it took quite a while both to order and to receive the food. It must be said, however, that the ladies in the dining room were kind and courteous, making up for it with their helpfulness.
In conclusion, a decent experience: the food is good and worthwhile, but the service could be more attentive and quicker to make it truly enjoyable.
12/08/2025: I honestly wonder how it can only have a 4.2 rating. We ate very well, and the service was impeccable. The bill was also excellent, considering the quality of the food.

23/08/2025: A welcoming place, with outdoor seating.
The food quality is good, but the portions, relative to the price, are small.
The service leaves much to be desired...most of the staff don't speak or understand Italian well, causing service disruptions.
It's a shame, because this situation detracts from everything else...
21/08/2025: After more than 15 years of frequenting Cala Liberotto, this past year, my uncle won't see me again. Why? Because at 6 PM I asked for five takeout pizzas by 8 PM, and he refused to do so (rather rudely, in fact) because he said he had so many tables booked and couldn't fill the oven around 8 PM for my pizzas. He told me he'd make them right away if I wanted them, otherwise, no way. I walked by at 8:15 PM on my way back from the beach, and there were five or six tables occupied. Bottom line: he didn't want to make them, and he told me about the grape issue. In the past, they were definitely kinder, more efficient, and more affordable. Oh, and it was July 20th during the week, not August 15th. It was crowded, but we're not talking about a sellout on August 15th.

27/04/2025: A pleasant evening. The restaurant is well looked after and welcoming. I ordered the mussels my way and the tagliolino with octopus ragú and a revisited orange tiramisu. Everything was delicious, the mussels were excellent, fresh and tasty. The portions are more than right. Ilaria excellent hostess.
27/04/2025: Finding the words is not easy... Everything was fantastic, but the best was the food and the QUALITY of the service...
