17/01/2026: We had the tagine, the dish of the day, which was good, but way too greasy. The dining room was small and a bit dark. The manager was friendly. The quality/price ratio was poor.

19/10/2025: Traveling to Carloforte several times a year, we know Mamma Mahon very well. Limba is an angel and Roberto a living example of a dedicated cook. Whether you get something to take away for a sailing trip or you sit down in the evening and enjoy some special food, it’s always a good choice.
06/09/2025: Every year we return to Carloforte and go to Mamma Mahon for lunch, confident that we'll eat well—an increasingly rare occurrence. The place is clean, the food is just right, with flavors and truly plentiful, and the prices are fair. We ate quality fish made to order... at a restaurant we'd pay double. Thank you for the warm welcome.

13/04/2025: Questa gastronomia è perfetta per un pranzo veloce e informale, anche da asporto, non fanno servizio al tavolo ma sono presenti sia tavoli al chiuso sia all'aperto. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Si può assaggiare una cucina locale eccellente; in due abbiamo preso 4 piatti differenti, cascà, pasticcio carlofortino, trippa al sugo con patate e trancio di spada: veramente ottimi, davvero saporiti e porzioni generose. Prezzo giustissimo. Massimo dei voti meritatissimo!

22/07/2023: Posto eccezionale per rapporto qualità prezzo. Non è possibile sedersi se non per 4 fortunati come noi che siamo arrivati giusto in tempo per occupare l'unico tavolo fuori. Da non perdere la farinata una sorta di panelle palermitane ma cotte al forno. Ottime le focacce con le melanzane e con le cipolle, ottimi pure i calzoni. Abbiamo cenato in quattro ad un prezzo che altrove non sarebbe bastato nemmeno per pagare il coperto. Consigliatissimo
