04/03/2026: A perfect welcome (in French: fantastic, I don't speak Italian unfortunately), excellent food, good background music, and a very friendly atmosphere. A wonderful discovery ❤️
27/02/2026: I stopped in Stresa for work and chose Stornello because I read they also have vegan options. Since it's not an exclusively vegan restaurant, my expectations weren't very high. But I was wrong... their vegan dishes are nothing short of spectacular!! Starters, main courses (even the seitan goulash), and dessert! I'll be back, even if I have to travel all the way from Verona.

21/02/2026: Excellent food and cocktails. The atmosphere is also very nice.
08/02/2026: The appetizers were unconvincing, and the pairings were unsuccessful. The first courses were better, though it was a shame that the pasta was completely overcooked, and the risotto was more of a dessert than a main course. The service was good, and the only positive was an excellent wine list with good local wines.
I wouldn't return.

08/01/2026: Avoid the overpriced, stale, dry chocolate cake for €6...not good...something needs to be reconsidered...2 cappuccinos and 2 slices of cake for €20...I understand we're on the lakefront...but at least the cakes are fresh...
Disappointed, the cake was stale and dry...
Avoid if you can.

27/02/2025: Cibo eccellente e personale molto cordiale, gentile e professionale. Non sempre nei ristoranti in cui ci siamo recati nei nostri giri da freschi pensionati abbiamo trovato queste caratteristiche
11/01/2025: Posto carino, proprietari disponibili attività di famiglia tutti molto carini.. e disposti a soddisfare le nostre esigenze.
Sono stati calorosi, cibo molto buono.
Trovato posto anche senza prenotazione, e ci hanno servito subito e offerto l’ amaro.

Incuriosito dalle recensioni sono andato di proposito. Pistacchio che non sa di nulla, forse un accenno di nocciola.

24/08/2024: Me detuve aquí para un helado con amigos mientras estaba en Stresa. Fue aceptable, pero no genial. Hay mejor helado a precios más bajos en la zona. Para ser justos, las vistas del Lago Mayor que están cerca son geniales.
