I recently returned, and what a DISAPPOINTMENT! The value for money is terrible, with high prices and small portions for the appetizers. Service is incredibly slow, with several mistakes, including spaghetti that was too al dente and seriously undercooked. It's a shame because the food is good, although the desserts used to be better.
We skipped the main courses because we were still getting dessert at 5 pm! Too much chaos and confusion.
A very quaint place; the most beautiful and welcoming area is definitely the one with a wonderful, constantly lit fireplace. Besides the warmth, it creates a truly family-friendly atmosphere. Even the small room next to the kitchen is very cozy. The food is truly good; the desserts we had were divine. The only downside was the very slow service, perhaps because the place was full... or perhaps because there were too few staff, who were constantly running around (so they were still good).
I recommend it and will definitely return!
04/04/2026: We went on Palm Sunday for lunch with friends. The place looks very nice. Fireplace, country style, friendly staff—in short, a great welcome. Unfortunately, the place where we ate was at the back of the room and was cold and damp. We (almost all of us) kept our jackets over our shoulders the whole time because eating in the cold wasn't pleasant. The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was good, as were the mixed fried foods. Unfortunately, we thought the portions were small for the price.
The service for the next courses was really slow and confusing. We had ordered six first courses. One arrived, then after a couple of minutes, another one arrived. Then nothing for another 10. After that, three first courses arrived, one of which had already been brought, so it arrived double, and two more were missing because they had completely forgotten about them. One of our friends settled for a double, while the other wanted the first course she had ordered.
I have to say the sauces were excellent, but the pasta was very al dente (everyone at the table thought an extra minute of cooking would have been helpful) and the portions were really small.
We skipped the main course because it was already quite busy and went for dessert instead. All were good, but these also arrived staggered (though a little better than before). The berry cheesecake had an excellent topping, but the cake itself reminded me of something prepared even though they said they made it themselves. It wasn't your typical oven-baked cheesecake. Still, it was good.
Overall, a disappointing experience. Two and a half hours for half an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert each. The portions were small in our opinion, the pasta was too al dente, and the service was slow and confusing.
Excellent sauces and a nice place.
