It's the first time I've discovered Fabriano and the first time I've discovered this super chic wine bar/restaurant.
If you pass through Fabriano and don't stop at Enoteca Simona, you're missing out on a little treasure hidden among the city's alleys. Here you don't have dinner, you literally have an experience. And you do it with style, taste and a pinch of madness, the kind that only Chef Mattia knows how to bring to the table.
The menu is fixed, but nothing is ever the same: every time it changes and surprises you. Four courses conceived as a story, accompanied by wines chosen with love (and true expertise) to enhance every flavor. You don't have to choose anything - you sit down, relax and let yourself be guided. It's liberating.
At the end of the evening my friends and I had the opportunity to talk to Chef Mattia, who is not just a chef, he is an artist of the stove who transmits his passion for work to his dishes. And it succeeds, in a big way.
The atmosphere? Warm, well-kept, intimate. The staff is smiling, present but never intrusive. You feel pampered, like at home, but with starred restaurant dishes (without the mind-blowing prices, on the contrary...).
In short?
Enoteca Simona is the place you gladly return to, with a full belly and a light heart. Thanks Mattia – keep cooking like this, you're going strong!

02/02/2025: Locale intimo e gradevole. Si può andare per un normale pasto o aperitivo. Bella scelta di vini che però non abbiamo potuto apprezzare, essendo un gruppo di astemi. Il locale è perfetto per andarci con amici e offre buone pietanze per tutti i gusti. Buon servizio. Piccolo difetto: bagno unico per uomini e donne e dirimpetto alle cucine.

13/07/2025: Good pizza (if you don't get nervous about ordering it and if you manage to eat it hot) and terrible service. If you order takeout, don't expect it to be ready when you arrive. You'll have at least a half-hour wait because the pizzas start being prepared when you arrive (so the call value is zero; it's as if you ordered them directly upon arrival). Furthermore, after waiting, you never know how long the pizza will be cold and inedible. It puts you off eating and paying. Terrible.
22/06/2025: The pizza by the plate is always excellent. The dough is light and easily digestible, the crust is soft but not excessively large and the toppings are always of high quality. The calzone is really tasty. And then every time I go I am reminded of a typical focacceria down in Puglia that I frequented during my childhood.

12/05/2024: Questa gelateria si trova in una posizione strategica di passaggio.
Lodevole il fatto che non ci fosse una quantità smisurata di gusti ma mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare qualche crema in più senza lattosio invece che il solito cioccolato fondente.
Accoglienza del personale un poco fredda e porzioni un tantino risicate.
Da rivalutare.

02/03/2025: In famiglia insieme ai miei figli volevamo mangiare buona cucina locale soprattutto frittini (olive ascolane, cremini, ecc..). Tutto gustoso, buono, assolutamente cotto bene non oliati, siamo rimasti contentissimi. I proprietari accoglienti, ottimo servizio
22/01/2025: Dicono che Fabriano passi un periodo di crisi ma il sabato sera trovare un ristorante vuoto è una impresa. Detto questo e volendo cenare ci fiondiamo letteralmente in questo piccolo locale, ultimamente dotato anche di una saletta con qualche posto in più, che offre pizza principalmente da asporto e al taglio (continuando la tradizione fabrianese della pizza al taglio) oltre poter mangiare seduti ai pochi posti presenti. Il personale ed il titolare si presentano subito gentilissimi e ti mettono a tuo agio. Ci cucinano due pizze molto buone una semplice marinara, gustosa con una salsa molto saporita ed una pizza con salsiccia ed erbette che, pur nascendo bianca, su nostra richiesta ci mettono al salsa di pomodoro. Sfamati e soddisfatti scambiamo ancora due parole con il titolare e paghiamo un conto assolutamente super onesto. Se capitate a Fabriano provatelo.
