09/08/2025: I'm a flight attendant, based in Malpensa Airport. The toilets here are a health hazard! The dirtiest ones I've ever seen in any Airport I've been to. They're NEVER cleaned. No matter what time I arrive, they're always dirty. Today I entered the toilet right after the cleaners left. The smell was unbearable, even from outside. The floor hasn't been mopped in ages. The sinks were dirty. The toilets inside the boots were very dirty, the bins were full and there was no papers. What do the cleaners do if the toilets are dirty,bins are full and there's no paper right after they leave? And why of all airports I've been in the world, the toilets in this airport, in Milan, is the dirtiest? Even in Rurrenabaque, an airport in the middle of tge rainforest in Bolivia, where some people don't have running water, the toilets are cleaner than the ones in Malpensa Airport, in Milan Italy, a central city in a modern country.

09/08/2025: Malpensa T1 was the most disorganised airport I’ve ever been through and I completely understand how low the bar is for airports (minus a very select few). We arrived at 6:30 pm for a 10:15pm flight, only to face huge queues, zero organisation, and painfully slow check-in that took over 2 hours just to drop our one bag, with one worker arriving 30 mins late to cover over 200 passengers. No self check in? I've never seen anything like it. Insane. Security was even worse if you can believe it. After queuing 90 mins to drop a bag we walked 50m to see lines out the door and spilling into the terminal. We ended up having to pay €10 each for “Fast Track,” which was only slightly faster and just as unorganised as people tried to argue and push past for their flight - but everyone was late and stressed. After that passport control had half the machines switched off, causing more unnecessary queues. The irony? Past security, the terminal looked lovely, but we had zero time to look around as we ran past it. Management needs to staff check-in properly, organise queues earlier, and keep security/passport control fully operational. They should be ashamed. Go to Linate if you can.
