11/08/2025: I loved this place, which I hadn't heard of, in the heart of the historic Carmine district. A last-minute reservation for two people for dinner on a hot August Monday. Three of us showed up, and the staff (who proved to be knowledgeable and helpful) immediately set to work, making us feel at ease in no time! The dinner featured dishes that I found excellent: traditional dishes, but you can also find something different and more sophisticated. The wine was absolutely appreciated. In my opinion, they were also excellent for the prices, which I often find disproportionate in other downtown locations (personal opinion).

19/07/2025: Gelatetia qualche km di distanza da casa. Ci passavamo regolarmente davanti e finalmente ci siamo fermati per non abbandonarla più! Gelato strepitoso!!! Cheesecake al lampone davvero eccezionale come anche le monoporzioni di semifreddi.ecc, tutto eccellente. Su prenotazione anche semifreddi senza lattosio e altro. Locale simpatico con qualche tavolino anche all'esterno. Tutto "slurp" , davvero una bontà !!!

14/08/2025: Really enjoyed my visit here! The menu has some unusual and creative options you don’t see every day, but everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. Definitely worth a visit if you like a little twist on the usual.

08/08/2025: Simply perfect! We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by chance and enjoyed excellent dishes, made with high-quality ingredients expertly crafted by the chef, a superb wine list, and attentive service. Must-try: the venison carpaccio with truffle, the truffle risotto (they left us an extra portion for free!), and the desserts... they are out of this world!!! We'll definitely be back.

22/08/2025: I chose this little restaurant for a business lunch. The food was good, but I expected more. The mozzarella was good but not exceptional. The cacio e pepe pasta was average. Maybe if I return for an à la carte dinner, it will be different. Nice location. Attentive and courteous service.

24/07/2025: I went to this sushi restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend in Brescia. I was torn between a few options, including the Nagoya spots — I had a great experience at the one in Curno — but after checking out the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. We arrived at around 7:45 PM and immediately found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Even though there was a large parking lot nearby, we chose this one for convenience. The atmosphere was warm, modern, and well-designed. A special highlight is the little bridge over the indoor pond, which truly makes the place stand out. Right after placing our first orders, the dishes came out quickly. We were genuinely impressed by the variety, the presentation, and the attention to detail. The staff was extremely friendly. The pizza chef, the legendary Ivan, creates magnificent pizzas that make you feel like you're in Naples thanks to the quality of the ingredients used and the care he takes in baking them. The prices are fair, and they even deliver to your home...what more could you want? Now let's move on to the cons: There aren't any. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: TLDR: One of the best, healthy, vegan meals you'll have in all of Italy from owners who care in the cleanest and cutest restaurant. We have eaten across most of Italy and this is better than the €250+ meals we have had. Atmosphere: Finally a restaurant that is loved and well-kept. It is super clean, there is a "vibe" as the kids say these days, and love is poured into every detail. Even some of the expensive, Michelin restaurants in Roma and Torino let their bathrooms go or some small detail like they did not care anymore. Not at Shakti though. Perfect. Service: they likely do not get many non-Italian tourists, but the server was super nice and used Google translate to talk with us in English. Service speed was perfect, five courses in 2.5 hours. Some other restaurants take FOREVER to bring out courses. NOTE: CASH ONLY! Food: This is where Shakti shines. Every dish was plated like Michelin quality art and also tasted amazing. Each dish was completely different with flavors and textures while not being too fussy. One of the problems we have with a lot of Michelin fine dining is they turn everything into a mousse, foam, or creme and you never have to chew anything. Shakti does it right by giving you the creme with the crunch and all super healthy without all the oil. We left feeling light and refreshed. The set menu changes often so you'll likely get something different our courses were: 1. Falafel bite, homemade "cheese", and a small salad. 2. The world's best millet gnocchi bolognese. 3. Crepe with pesto green beans. 4. White bean and zucchini cake. 5. Mille-feuille All of this for under €40 / person! If you like great food you MUST go. Over two weeks of different restaurants in Italy and this has been the best so far. Do not let the hidden menu, calling for reservations, or cash only deter you. This is magic in your belly.
