17/03/2024: I discovered this place by pure chance: at dinner with friends, a couple of guests brought a tray of gluten-free mignon because they suspected they were celiac. So far everything is normal: the fact is that, upon tasting them, I would never, ever have said that they were gluten-free, because I can guarantee you that they were absolutely indistinguishable to the taste and touch, they had to tell me, and even after I they said it I could hardly believe it. Usually gluten-free doughs of any type are immediately recognisable, being more crumbly, fragile and grainy than "normal" ones. Not these, in the most absolute way, which is why I say that I had a hard time believing that they were gluten-free, and this applies to both desserts and savory doughs, such as pizza and various focaccias that I had the opportunity to taste (in this regard, interesting how every now and then they offer slices of freshly baked pizza with the obvious intention of convincing skeptics, which I think is very intelligent on their part). My wife has celiac disease, so you understand that for her a place like this is a real toyland, in every sense. It's not exactly cheap, this must be said, but when my wife wants to indulge herself, or when I want to give her a gift by tempting her, I always know where to go: Celiac's!

06/04/2024: The restaurant has a very cozy vibe, the decoration is modern and the pizza is very similar to a genuine napolitana, which is a very rare thing in Rome. If you happen to visit the Colosseum, this place is a must!

20/03/2024: Great ice cream and reasonable prices compared to the center of Rome. The local children love to lick the ice cream. Absolutely recommended!!! Someone who loves his ice cream and makes his culinary contribution to the Roman population. Don't be too comfortable, we walked back and forth from there to the Vatican.

05/12/2023: Small ice cream shop in the Monteverde area, old excellent quality ice cream where you will find only seasonal products, the two owner brothers are kind and helpful, I highly recommend

13/05/2024: Excellent discovery. Delicious artisanal ice cream. Quality can often be seen in the simplest flavors (and colours). The pistachio I tasted was really good, combined on the advice of the friendly ice cream maker with an excellent walnut ice cream. I will return as soon as I am in Rome again. Update: Since my first review I have returned several times, and I am always happy to do so. I also tried their cream, truly spectacular!

14/05/2024: A unique place, not to mention the home cooking, to remember

08/05/2024: I'm writing this review after returning for the second time. The first evening at dinner, the evening did not start very well due to the large number of people and the service was managed quite poorly. But once the food arrived it was delicious… really fantastic. The super nice guys apologized for the wait and the bill was definitely at a good price. The next day we returned for lunch because we really liked the food. And the next day I have to say excellent service, super fast, delicious lunch. Very nice location, all outdoors in a beautiful green garden. These are the places I like, it certainly deserves 5 stars, it is certainly not a luxury restaurant, but if I were to pass through Rome I will go back!

06/04/2024: Tucked away in a small street behind Piazza del Popolo, the restaurant is a small quiet island in the middle of the usual Italian hustle and bustle. Kind and attentive service, delicious food, real Italian flavors. I can only recommend it to everyone who comes here!

06/04/2024: It's not the classic restaurant where you spend a lot and they don't make you eat anything/bad.. Excellent service, the waiter Mirko was very friendly and professional, the pizza was good and sweet, the pie with a warm heart was excellent.. Must try compliments..

17/03/2024: Going down the stairs of the Eritrea restaurant and being immediately surrounded by scents and warm atmospheres is just the prelude to a unique taste experience. Because once seated you are overwhelmed by the spicy flavors of the meats and vegetables served on the ingera, to be eaten strictly with your hands sharing with friends. Service and courtesy at the highest level, which is not at all a given. Highly recommended!
