02/06/2025: It went beyond our expectations, a good appetizer of typical Neapolitan fried food, and the crunch pizza proposal was fabulous, not to mention the classic Neapolitan ones. In addition, our compliments go in particular to the service that despite the very young age of the waiters (whose names I unfortunately do not remember) was impeccably and professional. Definitely recommended.

31/05/2025: Had amazing pasta, wine, cappuccino, & calamari! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were so nice with our language barrier, making great recommendations. The green pasta was to die for!!! Best pasta I have ever had.

07/06/2025: Andare a Pompei Centrale è sempre un'esperienza piacevole: l'interno è molto caratteristico e la qualità delle portate è elevata. La pizza è buona ed i panini sono veramente gustosi.
28/05/2025: Sono stato più volte in questo pub-pizzeria e ho sempre espresso un giudizio più che lusinghiero. Purtroppo stavolta do un giudizio negativo, tutto conseguente al fatto che mi hanno fatto pagare una birra commerciale di 0,4 lt la bellezza di 8,50 euro: un'esagerazione! Non si trattano così i clienti.

01/06/2025: Éramos cinco novias cenando allí. Pedí una especie de plato de tapas que incluía, entre otras cosas, queso de búfala y bresaola. El camarero me informó que se habían quedado sin queso de búfala, pero que yo podría comer mozzarella, a lo que acepté, aunque me pareció extraño que no ofreciera un descuento ni nada a cambio, considerando que el queso de búfala es más caro que la mozzarella.
Cuando recibí la comida, se veía muy bien y bien presentada, pero no pude ver ninguna bresaola, que en realidad fue la razón principal por la que pedí el plato. Cuando le señalé esto al camarero, simplemente dijo: “Sí, no tenemos ninguno.” Entonces dije que sería razonable obtener un descuento en el plato ya que faltaban 2 de los aproximadamente 6 ingredientes, y estaba claro que estaban tratando de ocultar el segundo y solo espero que no me diera cuenta. El camarero no pareció pensar que un descuento fuera apropiado y explicó que el cargamento de bresaola no había llegado. Pensé que esto era bastante pobre — no asumir el error y no dejar que el cliente tenga razón.
Después de muchas idas y venidas, el camarero finalmente aceptó un descuento de 2 €, que luego se olvidó en la cuenta, y tuve que recordarles nuevamente. Además, nos cobraron de más por una botella de agua.
La comida era buena, pero por desgracia, la experiencia fue tan decepcionante que solo puedo dar 1 estrella.
28/05/2025: Locale rinnovato e pulito, ambiente semplice e servizio adeguato, abbiamo pranzato con un antipasto di fritti dí discreta fattura e due pizze tradizionali molto buone, prezzi convenienti.

Il Machiavelli restaurant e lounge

07/01/2025: We spent New Year's Eve in this restaurant. The place is practically a closed veranda with sheets from which drafts pass through, my feet were frozen all evening. As for the food, the starters were decent, the first paccheri with seafood ragù, the ragù good, the paccheri overcooked (and you need some to overcook the paccheri!), the second first course, champagne risotto was tasteless completely without salt and above all without Champagne!
The second course was a good sea bream fillet but the potatoes on top were raw.
Good but frozen apple pie, but the thing that really left me stunned were the lentils, the large ones from discount stores, dry, mushy, completely without salt, unpresentable and inedible, in fact everyone left them.
On a positive note, the service, the girls are kind and polite
I don't think we will return to this restaurant again
01/01/2025: A delightful New Year's Eve in Pompeii How can we not leave an excellent review for this place, where we were truly welcomed like family members without neglecting professionalism, accompanied by good music as soon as we arrived Antonio, one of the owners, immediately welcomed us like family members, the super active staff, but the jewel in the crown was Gianluca the Chef, also one of the owners who delighted and pampered us with his splendid and tasty fish-based cuisine, all fresh, cooked to perfection but with flavors above many other places in Pompeii, highly recommended. Well done guys, I can only recommend everyone to taste your delicacies. THE TOP of cuisine, hospitality, cleanliness, elegance and professionalism. Well done. Well done..

Pizza E Pasta Di Verino Francesco

31/05/2025: We ordered dinner around 7:50 pm for a group of eight people. After just over two hours, only two pizzas and one pasta had arrived. The other five pizzas, despite numerous requests to the staff, continued not to arrive.
The situation was surreal: not only were the waiting times interminable, but the staff management was completely disorganized. The people who worked there were shouting at each other, talking back to customers and a tense and unpleasant atmosphere had been created in the place, with other customers protesting and raising their voices. No one could give clear explanations, no one took responsibility for the poor service.

11/03/2025: I would like to point out that for some strange reason the review was published about two years later.
We went to Hortus for a quick lunch yesterday. The welcome is top notch, they are all friendly and nice, as well as professional, but what went over the top is the quality and flavor of the food: as in an ancient Neapolitan tavern, you can find almost forgotten flavours, excellent Campania products, both produced and from the land, and dishes prepared in an impeccable way. In addition to what you can see in the photo, we tasted the "broccoli and sausage" pasta (I don't remember the name they gave it)... sublime.
25/02/2025: It was alright. It’s near Pompei so that’s where it has its value.

21/10/2024: You can eat, but we went to have a drink. The place has a good Irish pub-style atmosphere and a curious variety. It is like entering a patio and gives it a more original touch. The staff is very nice and correct.

La fábrica y el escaparate del Sr. Raimo son una visita obligada - ver si usted está interesado en la producción de alimentos tradicionales, italianos, familiares - y restaurantes mientras está en el área de Pompeya. Pompeya tiene más que ofrecer que un sitio arqueológico para visitar. La comida en esta ciudad es increíble y Caseificio Raimo produce el mejor queso que hemos probado! Y el personal es simplemente maravilloso! Gracias, Amodio! 🙏 Volveremos!
