03/01/2026: More than a restaurant, the setting and menu are reminiscent of a trattoria, which isn't a disparaging thing; it just emphasizes the overall mood. Overall, the food is average, the plating is average, and the service could use some work. I found the welcome to be rather spartan; you sit down, they give you the menu, and within a minute they ask you what you'd like, as if welcoming a customer and spending 10 minutes there is a waste of time. I ordered the (house) wine, which, well, wasted a lot of water. I've never tasted such a clever house wine. I chose the house antipasto, which doesn't specify what it is. The courses arrive—plenty, yes—but without telling you what they are or even helping you make room, they just stand there waiting for you to make the first move. I've been to countless other restaurants and have seen waiters make room with just one hand. In short, making a difference isn't the strong point of many Calabrian restaurants, and I'm sorry, being one myself.
