02/12/2025: Amidst the scents of the sea and authentic flavors, Vecchia Fattoria treated us to an unforgettable lunch. Daniel welcomed us with kindness and precious advice. The appetizers were rich and delicious, and the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. True quality, without frills. We'll definitely be back to try other creations and their pizza.

09/09/2025: It's a pub located in Scalea, right near the historic center. It's a family-run place, and the staff are very kind and always available.
The food they serve is very good, with local and authentic products.
Highly recommended.
19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well.
We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat.
When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable.
The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate.
The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it.
The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean.
Highly recommended.
We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

16/08/2025: Nice restaurant, sushi was pretty good, ramen was not too great (was instant noodles) service was good.
16/08/2025: We were on vacation in Scalea and decided to eat here at the last minute. We were very satisfied because everything was very good and carefully prepared. Mr. Vincenzo, the dining room manager, was very kind and professional. He even helped us choose the most suitable items for children since we didn't have much experience with Japanese food. I highly recommend it.

15/12/2025: Excellent bar and wine shop on the Scalea promenade. Tables under umbrellas with comfortable chairs and super friendly service.
Excellent white wines by the glass 😋
The appetizers are excellent with an aperitif or wine.
The salsa pairs perfectly with tacos; it seems so fresh you'd think it was homemade.
Saturday: crepes with anchovies.
Indoor seating for groups and celebrations.
Ice creams for a fresh and tasty breakfast.
Stop by, you won't regret it.
13/12/2025: Perfect bar with wonderful staff amazing gelato and nice cocktails. Good location near to historic center. Highly recommended :)

10/01/2026: It's nothing special. The pizza was okay, but not particularly good for the price.
We ordered about seven pizzas a few weeks ago, and everyone had the same opinion.
The crust was good and crispy, but the topping was minimal, extremely thin, and soggy. Not crispy at all. My son agreed.
Now it's €7 for a marinara pizza.
The tomato sauce wasn't very tasty.

27/08/2023: Servizio pessimo... qualità cibo.....congelato.... porzioni di pesce insufficiente ....in compenso nel piatto tante patate bollite. Consiglio cambiate atteggiamento. Mai più in Calabria se questa è il preludio
26/08/2023: Semplicemente la ristorazione è un’altra cosa….. siamo stai polli cauti nella trappola del ristorante per turisti…… ci siamo fidati dei consigli del cameriere essendo la PRIMA E ULTIMA volta che ci vedono, antipasto carosello sponsorizzato abbondante per 2 persone, ma forse era sufficiente per mio figlio di 5 anni come quantità perché la qualità non sanno dove sia di casa, il pesce sembrava lavato per togliere odori cattivi e coperto da aceto e peperoncino ( come se nessuno ormai nel 2023 sapesse che sono trucchi per coprire il cattivo sapore del pesce o dei cibi in genere) poi preso un orata fresca pescata del giorno ( dicono) con dei paccheri…. Non sapevo che la pasta di cuocesse con il pomodoro e poi il pesce venisse cotto a parte e spinato anche male al momento dalla tuttofare del ristorante, credo sia la proprietaria, e nel frattempo la pasta già precotta di é freddata , mia moglie ha preso un primo spaghetto agli scampi che sapeva di nulla, neanche il sale credo venga utilizzato in quel ristorante….. almeno mio figlio ha mangiato pentette al pomodoro e patatine fritte che erano mangiabili……spero che prima o poi questo tipo di ristoratori facciano la fine che meritano perché non è fregando la gente che si va avanti……. Salvatevi o voi che potete……..
