26/04/2025: let's start with the pros... the environment is very welcoming, quiet, elegant and refined, the staff is kind. Our table overlooked the lake and the sunset. It was very nice to be able to enjoy the "red" sunset on the lake. the parking inside the restaurant is very convenient, although be prepared to have to remove the chironomids from the bodywork, at least in April, when the lake is invaded by these pleasant little flying insects. It is still worth nature and everything is beautiful. Let's get to the bad news. Two people, appetizer, two main courses, beans, water and a glass of wine €70... it's okay... but... - lake appetizer, €16, very good but very limited, some small samples... they don't taste of fish. - tegamaccio del trasimeno €17, you see a good amount of fish... but no, underneath is filling bread... the fish is little, good... but be careful because it is slightly spicy. It should be noted that we had specifically asked if the sauce was tasty and we were told no... and instead... rainbow trout, €16, good but dry, probably too thin to guarantee good "grilled" cooking. finally... beans in a flask... €8 to be specified. We had explicitly asked if the beans were the famous Trasimeno beans... and we were told yes... instead... listen up... €8 for simple cannellini beans of unknown origin... but cooked in a flask and also full of pepper. What a disappointment. I honestly don't recommend it for the food, but for sitting comfortably watching the sunset it's the best.

25/04/2025: Excellent tavern with an excellent menu. You will find both lake and land dishes. Excellent location with a very beautiful view of the lake. Top service.

15/04/2025: We called, reserved a table for five two weeks in advance and when we arrived the place was closed, with no phone availability or any other note regarding the opening/closure... we had to improvise and find somewhere else to eat. We were not the only ones in this situation.

13/04/2025: Excellent restaurant in Magione. From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious and fresh. Courteous staff and quick service, pleasant and well-kept environment.

21/03/2025: The place is so cute, quiet. The service was perfect, the guys were very kind. I ordered Spaghetti alla Carbonara and my wife Rigatoni alla Norcina. And for dessert PanaCotta. Everything was wonderful, very very tasty. It was the best pasta we have eaten so far.

15/12/2024: We went to the Montalcino Restaurant for my aunt's birthday, a very nice place, kind and helpful staff, in particular Mr. Nicola who is very nice and very knowledgeable. We will happily return

05/02/2025: Sono passato per puro caso essendo di passaggio per una visita al lago Trasimeno. Pranzo veloce ma pasta al pesce deliziosa. Essendo di un albero mi sarei aspettato qualcosa in meno quindi 5 stelle meritate!

04/04/2025: Rustic atmosphere but really excellent food and service. Both the fried lamb and the fried artichokes were delicious but the lasagna with asparagus and the "gourmet" version of the torte al testo were also at their best. Nice place among the trees but it is convenient to book.

02/04/2025: Prezzi molto onesti e servizio molto veloce. Personale cordiale e gentile. Si ordina e si paga all'ingresso poi ci si accomoda ai tavoli. Servizio molto spartano con piatti di carta e cibo nella media sicuramente la forza è iĺ prezzo e la rapidità di servizio (siamo andati di martedì sera quindi non affollato)

21/04/2025: The Country House is a place of quiet and sober beauty. Fabulous breakfast with excellent local zero-mile products. The half board dinners are good, but no choice of side dishes or vegetarian alternatives to meat dishes.

13/04/2025: Beautiful farmhouse in the middle of the countryside. We tried the restaurant for lunch, everything was really excellent with fresh products and their own production.

04/03/2025: I arrived before they opened, they allow me wait inside and when I said I am really hungry, they served me pizza and drink before official open time. Also food was delicious, people are extra friendly, love the place!
