02/04/2024: Easter Monday in the name of bad weather, so what to do? we have to celebrate by eating something good.... As luck would have it, the bad forecast for the trip out of the region meant we booked a table in this (packed) restaurant. Being lovers of tasting simple dishes that were once made, the main road led us to this place, rediscovering those good flavors (tripe, pork rinds, coratella, porcini caps), in a beautiful environment and with highly trained staff, without excluding the hostess, attentive like a mother. All dishes ordered a la carte were spectacular. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for the welcome and attention you have given us. See you next time 🤟

12/03/2024: Appetizer for two a little disappointing in quality, served with a good white pizza. We asked for a 1kg steak to split in two, they told us that they didn't have the right cut and if it was possible to make two of ½kg/each. We accepted somewhat reluctantly. They brought us two steaks that were made up of at least 5 cm of fat (a fillet is fine, but there is too little meat like this). The cut was terrible, the meat rare (cooked as requested) was carable despite the very sharp serrated knives. We had two half liters of red wine on tap. The waiter (after we had finished everything) asked us how it went and we replied that honestly we didn't like it at all... the owner approached us and asked us in a very abrupt way how the meat was to which we replied which sucked (abrupt for abrupt). The owner got very angry, kicked us out rudely and refused to let us pay even though we had every intention and not even having asked for a discount. We insisted on paying, but there was nothing we could do. He gave us the receipt and marked it as unclaimed (to avoid problems with the Financial Police). P.S.: The receipt was €89

26/03/2024: Historical activity of the city and also a point of reference for appointments or directions. Fairly well-kept environment with tobacconist, bar and ice cream shop. Friendly and kind service. Good coffee. Not a large car park but free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Abbiamo mangiato divinamente, piatti di alta qualità e sapori che porteremo con noi come un piacevole ricordo Il personale molto accogliente, gentile e davvero professionale Il proprietario fin da subito ci ha messo a nostro agio, preoccupandosi di non farci mancare nulla Davvero complimenti!!

07/02/2024: C’è sempre una ragione per ogni cosa , c’è sempre una risposta ad ogni domanda , c’è sempre il posto giusto per pranzare o cenare ,, Greg e la sua dolce metà vivono e lasciano vivere la loro armonia anche agli ospiti che con semplicità apprezzano piatti eccellenti e bevono vini di qualità , il tutto a prezzi molto decorosi. Una bomboniera in quel di città di castello Grazie per la dritta sul risotto , l’ho già provato e funziona!

21/11/2023: Siamo stati fortunati a trovare posto la domenica a pranzo. Il locale è bellissimo, la ragazza ci ha parlato di volte del 1300... Il cibo, favoloso. Non solo la carbonara, che tutti decantano ed in effetti merita, ma anche i ravioli alla norcina erano squisiti. Chiusura eccezionale con il semifreddo al gorgonzola. Vogliamo tornarci.

26/03/2024: Historic restaurant in Città di Castello! Very fast service, we took steamed meat rolls, Cantonese rice and grilled pork, it was all very good, not very spicy perhaps, which I like.. 80's place, all covered in wood, at first they thought it was closed by the car park because it wasn't lit from outside but then we followed other customers who arrived after us... They also do Japanese but not all you can eat.. We will be back to try other dishes!
