08/01/2026: First day in San Martino. Still unfamiliar with the place. Most of the ski club members were having lunch here. We arrived late, so we went into the restaurant to have lunch and see where the group was sitting. We were asked to leave because we were disrupting their work. Very rudely. I do the same job, but I welcome customers. During the rest of our ski week, we certainly won't be returning here. And we'll tell the 70 people with us to avoid the place.
08/01/2026: Our family enjoyed stay at Malga Ces .Beautiful place directly on ski slopes .
Food was excellent and vine choices as well.
We had ski in and out experience , because Malga Ces is in the best spot in the area .
We highly recommend. Than you family Scalet for are beautiful family ski vacation.

The staff is very attentive and extremely kind.
The wine selection from the cellar satisfies all palates!
Highly recommended
(We didn't eat, just drank a few glasses).

10/09/2025: Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!

13/09/2025: Just one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Great service and stuff, brilliant food, cozy and warm atmosphere. We recommend making a reservation ahead - it was full and lot of people were waiting to get a table (it really is that good haha! ).

New rooms with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Excellent sauna.
Really good food, they cater to everyone's needs and are very attentive to food intolerances and special dietary needs.
Accessible rooms, all areas are wheelchair accessible, and all floors have elevators.

17/09/2025: Very good location as name suggests. It is a great ‘town’ stop to rest before the next leg of our backpacking trip.
The room is clean and we love that we had a balcony. Meals are satisfying and tasty.
Also appreciate how involved the owners are in the hotel’s operations.

We ate very well, and the staff was truly kind and courteous.
The price was really fair—it's hard to find prices like that in Trentino—and we ate quality food at a truly fair price.

Excellent food, carefully prepared, and explained with care and passion by the owner. Everything was truly excellent, even the atmosphere was charming and refined. Super fair prices and a wonderful taste! It's a shame we discovered them on our last day!

13/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal here. I chose a classic pizza and my girlfriend went for a gluten-free pizza. Both were generously topped and delicious. To finish, I had the tiramisu, which was truly outstanding: light, creamy, and with just the right balance of coffee and cocoa. The service was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly.

05/01/2026: The hotel is newly renovated and located right next to the ski slopes. They want you to pay 50 cents for using the toilet, with a food voucher, like at motorway service stations – that's completely unacceptable to me!

Delizioso e abbondante! Difficile trovarne così.
Peccano altri piatti, non per il gusto ma per le quantità… peccato
01/05/2025: locale ampio tipico montanaro caldo e accogliente, con buona possibilità di parcheggio, bello il panorama circostante a poca distanza dal centro di S. Martino di Castrozza, la proprietaria Anita ti riceve personalmente come ad essere a casa propria. Cucina locale a base in gran parte di selvaggina e va in base alla stagionalità dei prodotti offerti dalla montagna. Le torte ed i dessert sono fatti dalla proprietaria in persona . Pasta fatta in casa dai tipici canederli alle tagliatelle, vari ragù a base di cinghiale , cervo ed altre selvaggine. Le cameriere servono i clienti con i costumi tradizionali del posto, il servizio è rapido. Vini ovviamente del territorio sia in bottiglia che al calice. Ingredienti tutti freschi e di ottima qualità, prezzi adeguati al servizio e alla qualità offerta.
