12/04/2026: We were Riva Del Garda for 4 days and we ate in this restaurant 2x. Antonio the waiter was so friendly and accomodating he even accomodated to alter our order from mixed fried seafood to a whole platter of calamari, my wife was so impressed and happy because it tasted so fresh and was a big portion so we decided to come back the following day. Complements to the chef and Antonio. The price was also reasonable and there were also plenty of choices of pasta and pizza for the children. Antonio also accomodated my son's egg allergy and made sure the pasta he ordered did not contain eggs.

08/04/2026: I was here for an aperitivo, but the place also offers restaurant and pizzeria service. A plus: pizza is always available on weekends, which isn't always a given. It's not Neapolitan-style, but thinner and crispier, but still pleasant and well-made. During aperitivo, they also offer small pizza slices, a welcome touch. Overall, a good option for both an aperitivo and a casual dinner.

21/10/2025: I came here because of the high rating and good reviews but honestly it was disappointing We ordered two latte macchiatos and one cappuccino they tasted mostly like milk and were served cold We also tried the chocolate and cream roll but it wasnt fresh at all and was very dry Unfortunately nothing we tried was enjoyable

19/10/2025: The cappuccino was quite good, but the service was very stressed and unfriendly, even though it wasn't busy.

02/04/2026: I have holiday home just round corner from this place, pizzas are always good. Tonight has been exeptional! Nobody in so ordered Pizza Quattro Stagioni.....watched the young guy make it from scratch. Hats off.....perfect base , perfect taste and best takeaway pizza I have ever had!

05/04/2026: Food is good but nothing more you can expect from shopping mall food place. Not suitable for big groups. They cat handle and just drop your order on the table and someone from the table have to start serving others.

11/04/2026: Let's just hope we don't feel sick. We went to this restaurant with pretty high expectations, but as soon as we sat down and saw those paper menus, with images so grainy you could see the pixels, we immediately realized we might have come to the wrong place. Despite everything, we approached dinner with a positive attitude, hoping to change our minds. But when the langoustine arrived, gray and unappealing, we realized it would be better to... actually run away. I won't go into too much detail: the atmosphere was nice, the staff was average, but the food was definitely not.

11/04/2026: I've been to several places and locations...but wow, this one is super!!! It's truly where I've truly tasted the real quality! And the dishes are huge, really huge...the best of the best.

21/07/2025: Appena entrati nella ristorante Sud di Riva del Garda, ci si sente subito avvolti dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente del sud Italia. I tavoli in legno, le decorazioni colorate e l'odore delizioso dei piatti tipici ci hanno trasportato in un viaggio sensoriale. Lo staff è stato davvero fantastico: carino e cordiale, con quel tocco tipico del sud che rende l'accoglienza ancora più speciale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse specialità e ogni morso era un'esplosione di sapori autentici. La pizza era semplicemente deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi e una pasta perfetta, mentre gli antipasti ci hanno fatto sognare di essere in una trattoria sul lungomare. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la pulizia del locale, che lo rende perfetto anche per famiglie numerose. Se cercate un posto dove gustare piatti squisiti e sentirvi come a casa, ristorante Sud è assolutamente super consigliata! Assolutamente da tornare

13/12/2025: We were there for the first time today 😊 We had a pizza and Parmesan cheese. The Parmesan wasn't quite piping hot, but it tasted good. But the pizza was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very attentive despite the large number of customers. The atmosphere was perfectly fine for me. And dogs are allowed. For me, this is a top pizzeria that you absolutely must visit if you're in Riva del Garda. We'll definitely be back.

19/08/2025: Great place for a quiet coffee and croissant after an early dog walk. Sometimes a few vehicles but very chilled. Great cappuccino.

28/07/2025: Frozen lasagna for €12... We actually wanted to order food for three people. All three of us chose lasagna. The waitress barely spoke English and apparently didn't understand that we were sharing ONE LASAGNA??!! After 40 minutes, she brought us ONE piece of frozen lasagna divided into three (approx. 2x4cm...). We then wanted to pay for the drinks we'd already had and find another restaurant. The waiter advised us never to come back and asked what he should do with the frozen lasagna that had been warmed up for 40 minutes...😂 We happily comply with the waiter's request not to come back.

08/03/2025: Semplicemente eccezionale. Diciamolo onestamente, trovare locali che cucinano svariati piatti con pesce di lago è davvero dura ma qui ho trovato il tutto davvero unico. Per chi non lo avesse mai mangiato il pesce di lago a un sapore molto delicato e renderlo gustoso senza rovinare il sapore è una impresa ardua, ma qua, sono dei veri maestri. ALTAMENTE RACCOMANDATO A MIO AVVISO. Tornerò sicuramente a trovarvi. Grazie ancora per il meraviglioso pranzo.

13/01/2026: Definitely a fun place 🤣🤣🤣...very small, there are only 4 tables inside, it's very curious to see the expressions of the people when they come in...they are a little disappointed seeing this space🤣, however, apart from everything else they have a very good selection of local white, red and sparkling wines. The friendliness of the owners is contagious, after 10 minutes everyone is friends. For food we had pasta e fagioli, good and carne salada...If you want a fun and alternative place, lose yourself in the alleys of Riva del Garda and look for it🤩🤩🤩🤩

05/04/2026: Anyone planning to come for the buffet should probably skip it; I don't know what the hotpot is like. There isn't much choice, almost everything is seafood, and the food was usually cold. The meat/fish selection is really minimal. The two stars are only for the sushi; the salmon was very good and fresh.

19/04/2026: Tables overlooking the lake, a quiet atmosphere, and a truly stunning view. Impeccable service: fast, organized, and always present without being intrusive. Very friendly staff, with special mention to the restaurant manager, who manages everything with great professionalism. We had pizza: very light dough, well-cooked, and high-quality ingredients. You can taste the care they put in, and most importantly, it's easy to digest: no thirst or heaviness afterwards. Prices are in line with the location, but absolutely justified for what they offer. Overall, a super positive experience, one of those places you'll want to return to.

18/04/2026: We went here for gelato and a spritz, without stopping for food. The location is certainly beautiful, on the lake, but otherwise the experience didn't entirely convince me. The ambiance didn't seem particularly refined, as one would expect from such a place. We spent about €37-38 for three gelatos and a spritz, so quite a high bill. I understand the touristy area, but the quality-price ratio wasn't up to par. The Nutella sundae, from the photos, looked much more refined and different from the one we were served. The gelato in general was also a bit disappointing: too much cream and a lesser quality flavor. Overall, it's a place worth trying for its location, but personally, I expected something better.
