I've known it for years, ever since it was a real mountain hut and we went there to eat strawberries with cream
It is now a renowned restaurant of great charm
I found everything delicious but especially the desserts: imaginative, unusual, colourful.
Expensive, it's true, but I think you pay the right price for abundant and high quality dishes

11/08/2024: Definitely a starred restaurant worth trying, in the heart of Val di Fassa.
The dinner menu consists of two different tasting menus or allows an à la carte choice, which we preferred.
From the photos you can understand the dishes savored, in our personal ranking: excellent first courses, good second courses, desserts that are more beautiful to look at, more interesting pre- and post-desserts. Kind, professional and attentive service, pleasant not excessive formality, also thanks to the young age of all the staff in the room, available and competent sommelier with a large cellar, also proposed a good cocktail as an aperitif.
Price in line with expectations.

22/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was an amazing experience. The beef tartare is the best I have ever tasted: accompanied by a crispy egg and enriched with summer truffle, it was simply divine. Even the simplest dishes, such as the cabbage salad, were perfect, with balanced and refined flavors. Each dish was a joy for the eyes, as well as the palate. The setting is excellent, with a breathtaking view of the mountains which makes the atmosphere even more special. Highly recommended!

01/09/2024: Malga Peniola can be reached an hour's walk from Moena, 3 kilometers from Sorte after a walk on a winding road or through the woods you reach a plateau from where you dominate the beautiful valley of Moena. Here there are some rural houses and old barns and a rural house with a pitched roof.

27/08/2024: Excellent mountain hut in the Paneveggio park, easily accessible even with strollers. Cozy atmosphere and fantastic polenta made in the traditional way with mountain cheeses, sausage and mushrooms.
27/08/2024: I have to agree with the comments on the disorganization of the place. Few tables and all in the sun, so a long queue to eat. In the end we opted for sandwiches, luckily the service was fast. Beautiful view of the Pale di San Martino.

04/08/2024: Ristorante del nostro hotel, nella piazza di Moena. Straconsigliato!!!! Cibo di ottima qualità, ottimi i sapori di tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato, servizio impeccabile! Prezzi ottimi! Un applauso ad Antonella, impeccabile sia per l’hotel che per il ristorante! Ci torneremo appena torniamo a Moena che ci è entrata nel cuore.

17/08/2024: Arriving after a walk, we sit down and order a drink, we are told that they don't only serve drinks and to go to the bar. Better this way, given the prices of beer, given that they charge double what it costs at the Fiemme Brewery.

04/08/2024: Wonderful holiday in Moena, we had an excellent time in this hotel. We stayed in a superior room, very beautiful and well-kept. Spotless room and bathroom, beautiful view from the balcony. Very relaxing atmosphere, very comfortable and quiet room. The furniture is beautiful, new and all in wood. Parking for the motorbike literally in front of the restaurant entrance. Excellent, rich and quality breakfast. Fabulous dinner, with very well-prepared and I would say gourmet-level dishes. Very courteous and helpful staff. In a word: unforgettable.
