10/03/2026: I've been coming here every winter for years. It's a very nice place, sunny outside, and very cozy inside when the weather is bad. Our food was delicious; besides the trio of dumplings, the Kaiserschmarrn with its sensational coleslaw was fantastic. Only the house wine is unfortunately no longer drinkable; it was definitely better in the past. A shame.

08/03/2026: Oberegger simply offers the best food you could wish for. The sun terrace is especially beautiful and inviting. The service is always quick and friendly, making you feel completely at ease. A definite recommendation – I'll definitely be back!

20/02/2026: We were pleased to get a table for dinner during a busy time in the valley (Olympics) but that was the good thing. We had two very bland turkey schnitzels that were basically just a salty chicken nugget. Decent fries. Staff were alarmingly efficient - it felt like a rushed cafeteria. Maybe we made a bad food choice - the pizzas looked decent.

19/02/2026: A very large pizzeria spread over two levels. As a result, it was quite crowded. However, we got a good table downstairs. Overall, the food was good and tasty, except for the onion roast beef, which wasn't what we expected. It was a very thick piece of meat, cooked pink, similar to a steak. We discussed this with the owner afterward. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the food arrived very quickly, even though the pizzeria was packed.

05/11/2025: I've known the Hotel Messnerwirt in Valdaora di Sopra for over a decade. I last stayed there in August 2025. The family-run atmosphere lends the hotel a welcoming and truly comfortable atmosphere. The property has recently been renovated and offers everything you need in a hotel of this caliber, including a relaxation area with a sauna and Turkish bath, sensory shower, whirlpool, and infrared cabin, as well as numerous relaxation stations. The cuisine is delightful, light, and tasty, and always well-balanced. The service is attentive, discreet, and friendly. Breakfast is also excellent, especially the "sweet" version, which I prefer. A true courtesy to guests is the snack offered every afternoon, with authentic cakes and drinks that restore you from the morning's exertions! The rooms are spacious, all with balconies and very comfortable beds. The location is truly strategic, even for those who love a cycling holiday. The garage offers a veritable mini-workshop where you can take care of your bike, whether electric or manual, including the option of a thorough wash. The stunning setting of the Pusteria Valley gives this property, located at the foot of a typical Pusteria bell tower, a magical feel. I highly recommend it for families, couples, and single travelers!

03/10/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they found us a table and served us promptly. Very friendly and fast. The view of the valley is beautiful, as the restaurant is located at the edge of the forest, higher up than everything else. The food was good; we had a venison carpaccio appetizer and grilled vegetables (my partner), followed by a Swiss pine risotto and a potato soup. I'd say it was all very good and the price was average.

19/02/2026: A great, modern hotel with a fantastic breakfast (everyone will find something for themselves), and you can make your own juice from fresh fruit and vegetables. A tea corner is available all day. In-room coffee machines with capsules, a kettle, and a selection of teas are available. A wonderful rooftop pool with warm water is available, and on level -1 there's a great spa with saunas and a jacuzzi (unfortunately, the water is slightly warm, not hot). Dinners are served after choosing from a menu (different daily, with vegan options). We start with the salad bar, where you can indulge – a wide selection. Then, four meals of your choice are served. The size is just right for me. Not all the dishes were to my taste, but it wasn't bad. You pay for drinks, and it's not cheap, but that's standard everywhere. The service, however, deserves 10 stars. Super friendly and helpful. The ski bus outside the hotel takes you to the slopes of the Olang 1+2 lift on Kronplatz in 7-8 minutes.

18/02/2026: Architecturally, the location is top-notch, with the rooms' ambiance perfectly executed (the architects are brilliant), not to mention the pool, which, to say the least, is simply out of this world (though those who prefer spaces with deer heads on the walls should forget it...). The staff is far superior even to higher-end accommodations: friendly, discreet, and professional. The management of the electric car charging stations and parking could be improved, but perfection doesn't exist, and if it did, it would be a complete bore. Hats off to the owners, who aren't just another international investment fund or asset management company, and it shows.

21/09/2025: Beautiful photos, but the pancake was kind of cold. We arrived at 9:00 AM and there was only one other table with customers. We placed our order (cappuccino, matcha, pancakes, another savory item, etc.) and only received the pancakes. Then the place started to fill up with customers, all the customers were served, they started receiving their orders, including cappuccino, and we didn't receive anything! We had already finished eating the pancakes, without anything to drink with them. We got up and left because the lack of organization was huge! And when it came time to pay, the employees didn't even know what to charge us because they didn't even know where they had written down that we had eaten the pancakes 🫠🤌🏽
