The food is good but not exceptional; however, we only ordered sweet dishes. The service, on the other hand, is truly catastrophic. Everything is very hectic and rushed, and on top of that, it's completely disorganized. The Kaiserschmarren was placed on the table, and as soon as I picked up my fork, someone came and took it away, grumbling "Wrong table." This creates a rather chaotic and hectic atmosphere, just like the service itself.

Very good food, and despite the busy times, the wait times were still acceptable. However, in South Tyrol, the macaroni seems to be made from penne.

Bit too crowded and in peak hours you have to wait for table. Good food and relatively fast service. Very tasty desserts though. Recommend to visit in later hours for tasty treat

01/02/2026: We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️

Gasthof Zum Falken

10/10/2025: We were greeted very warmly. The food portion was large. They even gave us a lift to our hotel in Eppan at 10 pm. They drove us twice for six people. A big thank you!
08/10/2025: A top-notch hotel-restaurant, family-run, with service that makes you feel truly welcome and like royalty. Oh, and the food... fantastic.
