26/10/2024: The restaurant is located directly on a hiking trail. Perfect for stopping off, there are tables on the terrace and inside. The service was courteous, but due to the large number of visitors we waited three quarters of an hour for our food. However, drinks were at the table within a few minutes. The food is classic South Tyrolean and very tasty.
19/10/2024: We were there without registering, got a spot straight away, but it was well attended.
Prices for drinks and food are absolutely fair.
We shared a pizza bread beforehand, which was very tasty and promising. And the expectations were not disappointed, the pizzas were all great, you can even watch the chef preparing them.
Very friendly staff! We would have come back straight away, unfortunately they were only open on weekends in the low season.
Excellent recommendation!

02/09/2024: A masterpiece of geometry and technology which, in my humble opinion, appears perfectly in line with our times and with the future that awaits us.
I don't agree with the criticisms at all given that the structure, in addition to being perfectly connected with the color of the environment in which it is located, uses sustainable materials both externally and internally.
Let's not forget that a refuge, in addition to offering catering services, must provide shelter in case of emergency and today's dimensions certainly allow it to accommodate more people than before, where places were significantly more limited.
As for the service, the strudel was excellent, plentiful and beautifully presented.
In Italy, it is always an immense effort to embrace innovation, because sometimes we are too tied to the classic dogmas of tradition!
02/09/2024: The new Sandnerpass Hut is a stunner! It is beautifully situated at around 2700 meters and when you climb up from the via ferrata and see it standing there in the sun you are speechless! The hut is very modern, well equipped and the food and drinks are great! Priced at the top end. But the taste and quality are worth it! The hosts are super nice and very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here

24/08/2024: Great holiday. In a wonderful environment immersed in tranquility. Stay in the annex about 10 meters from the hotel. Terrace overlooking the woods. Wonderful sounds come from the stream, just a few steps down. All this allowed us to enjoy our relaxation in the best possible way. The view is stupendous, looking out over the Catinaccio.
The service is impeccable: from the kindness of the staff, the excellent cuisine and the cleanliness of the rooms. We stayed with our dog: Lagorai shepherd. Impeccable pet-friendly service, the only rule: the animal must remain in the room during breakfast and dinner (rightly so). From the hotel you can undertake numerous excursions of all types.
We highly recommend.
22/08/2024: Very nice and well-kept place, all very kind managers and staff (including last year with a guest who smoked inside the room despite the ban, for example), excellent food, beautiful view. It's the third year we've been back and I hope, timing permitting, to be able to come back again!

16/08/2024: Am Samstag zu Mittag bestellte ich Pfifferlinge mit Polenta. Auf meine Frage ob die Pfifferlinge mit Sahne gemacht werden, wurde mir versichert, daß es nur ganz wenig Sahne hinzugefügt wird. Ok, habe sie dann bestellt.
Es kam dann die Polenta mit wenigen Pfifferlingen in einer undefinierbaren gebunden Soße!
Schon der erste optische Eindruck ließ keinen so rechten Appetit aufkommen.
Der Geschmack bei den ersten Bissen, war dann der Südtiroler Küche auch nicht gerecht. Ich bin Südtrioler und bin jedes Wochenende auf den Bergen unterwegs und traue mir daher zwischen schlecht und gut unterscheiden zu können.
Das Essen war leider unter jeder Kritik und ich werde in Zukunft bei der Hütte kein Essen zu mir nehmen und nur, wenn unbedingt was trinken.

12/08/2023: Sono stato nel bar di questo albergo una sera per bere una grappa, che mi e' stata fatta pagare 3,50€, la sera successiva per la stessa consumazione mi e' stato chiesto 3,80€. Alla mia domanda del perche' un prezzo diverso mi e' stato detto che la ragazza si era sbagliata, peccato che la sera prima alla cassa era presente anche la signora che mi ha risposto.Con questi comportamenti sicuramente perdono clienti, e probabilmente e' anche giusto. Sconsigliatissimo
09/08/2023: A most friendly family hotel/restaurant where they do everyting to make you feel welcome. The food is very good and the location, in the middle of the Dolomite mountains, forms an excellent basis to see the environment. Higlhy recommended

Restaurant Grasleitenhutte

16/08/2024: 8 Freunde erreichen die Hütte und setzten sich an einen Tisch im Freien.
Alle 8 Personen bestellen was zu trinken.
4 Personen gehen weiter auf die Grasleitenpasshütte und die anderen 4 Personen warten so lange auf der Grasleitenhütte, bestellen sich ein Flasche Weißwein und eine Speckplatte und beginnen, so wie bei uns in Südtirol üblich zu karten und warten auf die Rückkehr der anderen um dann gemeinsam Mittagessen zu können.
Ein Gast fordert die 4 Personen am Tisch auf, den Platz freizumachen, denn er möchte essen und sie könnten auch in der Wiese Karten spielen. Die unfreundliche Aufforderung wird ignoriert. Kurz danach erscheint der Hüttenwirt und fordert lautstark die 4 Personen auf, den Platz für den Gast freizumachen, obwohl dem Hüttenwirt erklärt wird, dass bereits was getrunken und gegessen wurde und in kurzer Zeit 4 weitere Personen kommen und dann wir alle gemeinsam Mittagessen werden.
Die 4 Südtiroler Freunde müssen für den Urlauber den Tisch frei machen und „dürfen“ in der Hütte weiter Kartenspielen und konsumieren dazu noch eine weiter Flasche Weißwein.
Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir ein bis zweimal zur Grasleitenhütte und wurde immer gut bedient und ich hoffe, dass dieser Vorfall und die Art wie mit den einheimische Gästen umgegangen wird, nur ein Einzelfall bleibt.
